Obama Warns GOP "Lay Off My Wife"
Obama Loses Argument With Wife Over Getting a Dog

Sen. Barack Obama ripped into a Republican ad today that targets comments made by his wife, Michelle, and called the GOP tactic "low class" and "detestable."

The senator and his wife discuss the race for the White House. The Illinois senator told "Good Morning America" that he expects hardball tactics from the Republicans if he becomes the Democratic presidential nominee.

"But I also think these folks should lay off my wife," he told "GMA" as his wife chuckled beside him.

Obama told "GMA" that he believes he will win a majority of the Democratic delegates once the votes are counted after Tuesday's primaries in Kentucky and Oregon. Obama is favored in Oregon while rival Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York is expected to win Kentucky.

Obama was careful not to act as if he had already clinched the nomination, but he also tried to present himself as the candidate who will be taking on Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona in the fall.

The Republicans seem to have come to the same conclusion and a GOP Internet campaign in Tennessee has an ad featuring Michelle Obama's comments during the long Democratic campaign that "for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country."

i don't blame Obama i would have told them more than that! I'm sure she will be very critical on whatever she says from now on!

I don't exactly know what happened, because I haven't been paying much attention to the news lately. Obama shouldn't be talking about leaving anyone's wife alone, because I recall Michelle Obama saying this about Hillary: "If you can't run your house, you shouldn't be running the White House." If Obama is so high above the fray as he says, he shouldn't care about what the Republicans are saying. If he is indeed close to winning the nomination, he needs to act like a presidential candidate, not a high school student running for class president. Anyone who injects themselves into the campaign is free game.

So are you gay or something, that you are so concern about a woman's squabble?

Why should we want to lay on that ugly witch much less the GOP? If she doesn't want publicity then she shouldn't comment publicity.

USM!

have you ever been married? Obama did the right thing! He stood up for his wife! Bill Clinton did the same thing when peeps were on Hillary so you need to get off the "if your'e white your'e right logic! Fuqk the Clintons! They need to let it go and realize that it's over for Hillary!

Nobody said anything about McCain's ugly sleazy tax hiding wife. And by the way, what do your wife look like?

Not to mention that McCain's wife is a recovering drug addict and it was soo bad to the point that she was actually stealing painkillers. Michelle Obama has waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy more class than that.

now yall know drag queens are intimidated by black women! that's why usm is dissing Michelle Obama!

I heard McCain wife was a 'frisco dyke.....

Anyway man the any black person supporting the GOP should question their allegiance. What they are attacking is an understanding of black history in this country. And you got black folk supporing this like an Uncle Ruckus. You know why Michelle said she was finally proud.

That is woman to woman though. Hell, are you aware of all the negative dirt Billary them have said? I follow this race quite well, and I have never heard this comment by Michelle. But I've always wished that they would go there. Do you have proof? You sound like a house loving Clinton supporter.....:lmao:

it is my prediction....that as the November election gets closer it will get even dirtier.

these old white men running the country are not gonna let a woman or a black man be president.

Yeah, it's about to get real ugly!
The sad part about it is these old white men that are going to be doing the dirt aren't even going to try to attempt to explain their actions. They will just continue to do it.

Just like the Tennessee GOP. If you recall "they" got blasted for trying to imply Obama was muslim and McCain blasted them then. here they are again, acting a fool.

LMAO- they like fugg it!

I understand what Obama is saying. Now that the GOP has found his "sore spot" they're gonna pick even more. They will probably dig up all of Michelle's dirty little secrets

Obama is a husband protecting his wife, something any good man would do - neither Michelle, Cindy or Bill are running for office - let's stay focused on the issues.
