Besides aren't our troops kind of spread thin from the 2 wars, threats from Iran and North Korea, the BP Oil Spill, wildfires in the west, tornadoes in the midwest, and preparation for hurricanes in the Gulf Coast?

I think we already know the answer to that. It is nearly impossible to protect every area of our borders, it is just to vast of an area.
