I want all black to read this next line: Are you ready! Because Obama won S.C. don't mean he is going to bring more blacks in white house. The right person for the democrats is Hilliary and Kennedy endorsed Obama because he is hating on Bill. Most black don't care for Obama and Obama don't appeal to me whatever. Bill and Hilliary has done more for Blacks than Obama will ever do in his whole life.

Kennedy's endorsement of Obama is like a pigeon dropping on your head.

Name 5 things the Clintons have done for Black America.

Name 5 things WE on this board or not have done for Black America...

Still waiting...

Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country.- John F. Kennedy.

Caroline Kennedy gave her support to Obama btw.

Not that it matters to me, but in the end, Edwards more than likely, will end up winning the Democratic party. (right click....save)

Rush Limbaugh has some openings if you want to work for him or Larry Elders for that matter. You'll fit along fine.

Presidents have way more power than junior senators. So of course Bill had the power to do more. What's to say that Obama won't do the same if he has the power to do so?

See, this is the crap I'm talking about. A person can't voice his/her opinion against Obama without some disgruntled Obama advocate labeling her/him. Such childish foolishness is sickening.

And just in case you didn't know, Edwards is a Democrat. In a few weeks, you'll be wondering why I said what I said about Edwards becoming the Democratic nominee for President.

OK..............I'm black................ :vomit:

More "tear Obama down" for the real black 1st family.

Damm.
Can't the "old school" let the new guy have his crushing win in peace?

This is bout the saddest thing I have seen. :smh:

No way. Ted has clout. He is one of the most powerful and respected men on the hill. He is a good swimmer, bad driver, bigger than Bruce etc. but he still has clout.
Endorsement from A Kennedy is a big thing in the democratic party.

Name 5 things the Clintons have done for Black America.

OH HOW SOON WE FORGET......................

1) Bill Clinton appointment more Blacks to his cabinet IN KEY POSITIONS, than ANY President in U.S. history. For instance, the chief of White House personnel, his budget director, his director of public outreach, his deputy chief of staff, were all African-American. His liaison between the White House and the Congress,Thurgood Marshall's son, was African-American, Sec. of Commerce, Ron Brown, etc.

2) He was hated by Republicans more than ANY Democratic President, in part, due to his relationship with Blacks.

3) Crime fell to it's lowest point in 30 years in Black neighborhoods under Clinton because there were more jobs. Blacks became part of the game, rather than watching from the stands, and all of this under the Clinton administration. On a sadder note, under Bush, crime in Black neighborhoods continue to rise on a yearly basis.

4) Clinton produced more middle class Blacks than any President in history.

5) He was one of the few Presidents to really connect with Black people, whether it was genuine or not. The connection was there.

6) The vast majority of Black people agreeed with Clintons decisions pertaining to welfare reform, in spite of having a Republican dominated Congress holding him back.

7) Black unemployment went down.

8) Black home ownership rose.

9) Black business ownership grew.

10) Clinton was the only President who I know who actually sang all the words to the Negro National Anthem. I don't know them all, and many of you don't either.:swink:

11) Due to the fact that Blacks were placed in positions of power under Clinton, billions and billions of dollars passed through Black neighborhoods via federal grants, minority grants, home ownership grants, business grants, educational grants, etc.

You asked for five, but that was too easy, so I doubled it, plus one. I could go on and on, but you get the point. Clinton did MORE for the Black community than ANY President in modern U.S. history.

I like that...R.I.P. Godfather of Soul.

James Brown was a Republican and supported Strom Thurmond who was the leader of the Dixiecrat Party.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixiecrat

http://rightinaleftworld.blogspot.com/2006/12/james-brown-godfather-of-soul-and.html

He campaigned for Richard Nixon and in 2003 was the featured attraction of a D.C. fund-raiser for the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

In 1999, when asked by Rolling Stone magazine to name a hero of the 20th century, he named Republican Sen. Strom Thurmond, of South Carolina. "Senator Thurmond has been able to stay afloat all these years, and he's great for our country," the black soul singer tells Rolling Stone. "When the young whippersnappers get out of line, whether Democrat or Republican, an old man can walk up and say, 'Wait a minute, son, it goes this way.' And that's great for our country. He's like a grandfather to me."

player, don?t let this anti-Clinton inferno fueled by gasoline from the media, engulf your heart and mind in a flame that causes you to attack your brother with a sort of ?black on black crime? mentality.

Do you want to see your Commander-In-Chief crying once he or SHE become flustrated over things they can not control?

The rich have to cry, the poor have the cry, you got to cry and I got to cry sometimes.

Did any of this have any substance or were they just a higher form of hand-outs. Providing people with the highest form of self preservation is what is required.
