Nuggets/ Knicks Brawl & penaltys

A brawl involving the Knicks and Nuggets escalated even more when Carmello punched a Knicks player in the jaw. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Carmello Anthony deserves to be suspended at least for five games for his round house punch.
Anything less than five games is a joke.
He acted like a punk/ thug.

These marks are stupid. They claim to be so sensative. That foul wasn't that serious for the fight that followed. They couldn't have played in the Magic, Byrd, and Jordan era.

It would not have been that big of a deal if Carmello wouldn't have sucker punched Collins in the jaw.
Now he'll be out of hundreds of thousands of dollars for that one punch and no telling how many games.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Carmello should've been the first player the Nuggets assistant coaches should've grabbed and escorted back to the bench. Who cares about the other scrubs who might get suspended, but you NEVER let your star player get caught up in that mess. They failed to do their job.

It looked like a slap you would get if you were pledging. If you have never been slapped hard then you don't know what I'm talking about.

Slap so hard it felt like a punch. Carmelo was trying to clean up that image.

Nah, he aint going to lose any endorsements..... Even Dr. J stole on L. Bird back in 84............

Melo is on the Air Jordan/Nike team. He'll be fine. Stupid act though. That Collins cat was told to do that hard foul I believe. Zeke(Thomas) was too calm at the press conference. He didn't look the one bit mad. Even was grinning when he said Melo and Camby shouldn't have been in the game. Oh well ole David Stern got another mess to deal with.

Zeke probably told his player to commit a hard foul... but this should not have escalated. Little ass Nate Robinson was the main instigator and threw the first punch.

Think about this. The next Knicks coach will be in New York for three-years maximum. Then he will be fired because the roster is such a mess. Therefore, he should demand a huge buyout for coaching the mess in New York.

I cannot take credit for this since I heard it first ESPN Radio. tonight. It makes sense to me.

Super stupid move by Carmelo. The foul was hard, but didn't warrant that type of fight afterwards.

I agree. Carmelo is a true punk. Hit and run is his new name. That boy was "crawdadding" like a crawdad at a seafood boil. He sucks and should be suspend just for running like a female.

backpeddling? he picked up his skirt and took to running. his teammate was trying to hold him....he was like, "get your feet off my pigtails, I'm trying to get away!!"

that was indeed a punk move. looked in wikipedia under punk moves and there was melo.

I'm not trying to endorse fighting but once you decide to throw a punch don't start running then, the time to avoid trouble was b/f u threw the punch.
