I'm so glad you posted this because as you read, the suggestion is that SUx, PV and TxSo all acted the same way. :lol:

However, I REALLY hope that none of ya'll really think we care what you think of us. We handle things in-house and the only people who have to be pleased is JSU students, alumni, friends and supporters!

Hell when I was at SU and I imagine it's the same way now.. we were too arrogant to even be worried about another band.. Especially a WSSU.. :retard: I don't give a damn what SU alum is over there.... They just don't attract our attention enough to even want to run and shout at them...

When ever we felt to show a band what was up all we had to say was..

"Oooooooh, ready, up!!" And that struck enough fear into any band because they knew by the aggression of that chant "which we do before every song" something vicious was coming their way...

Almost like getting poster-ized by MJ or some shyt...

Well, that was 15 years ago and that was when ya'll had volume. From the page your fellow Jag posted, SU acts the same way now. Maybe you need to go and let them how to act.

Some bands just mad because they didnt make the LIST for the HONDA this year.

Who gives a F U C about what a MEAC band has said: When JSU spelled out SWAC on the field then you knew these types of comments were going to come out.

Jsettes ran Circles around any other DANCE team at the HONDA.

The only portion JSU didnt receive HOUSE was from the dance routine which has been happening since 03. ---------

Another thing if it was a stand version of the HONDA instead of a halftime show, NONE of these BATCHES would be posting shhh on line!!!! JSU will murder any of the bands performed @ Honda with out any doubts.

WHAT GIFT THE 20,000 THEY RECEIVED FROM PERFORMING WHILE YOU GUYS WILL BE WASHING CARS ALL SUMMER TO TRY AND MAKE IT TO SOME OUT OF TOWN GAMES) I'm in no way trying to trash the boom. Outside of "swac rivalry" I actually like them. The problem most people have is that people can point out blatently obvious things and some JSU affiliates will deny it. ( DENY WHAT) OUT OF ALL THE BANDS THAT PERFORM AT THE HONDA YOU PAID MORE ATTENTION TO WHAT THE BOOM DID AND DIDNT DO) THATS SOME BS Thats were the respect is lost with a lot of people. You do know that the band director has to accept an invitation to be put on the Honda Ballot? A band isn't left off the ballot just because. Every band that wasn't on the ballot declined to even put their band's name on the ballot, telling Honda thanks but no thanks.

Yep, we know that. Our name only goes on when we already know we have been invited to go. That voting mess is bogus. The only time our name was on there and we didn't go was the first year when JSU and PV won the SWACs popular vote (SU was not on the ballot) and they sent Grambling in our place. We removed our name after that. We go by invitation only now.

You do know Grambling didn't even allow their name on the 2003 ballot, the Honda paid Grambling a hefty fee to come in 2003? Hell the Honda Committee went to Grambling to get the band to come. Dr. Pannell only went because of the President of the Grambling at that time, Dr. Neari Warner begged Pannell to take the band. They tried to get Grambling to come back in 2005 and 2007 but Dr. Pannell said no way and he feels that the Honda is for bands that need to make a name for themselves. Some bands need the Honda to validate them and some do not. 1 and out is what i say, it's hard to perform above your first performance, just look at the history of the Honda and band performances.

I disagree. JSU did well in our first two appearances. I feel confident in saying we didn't "care" to go above and beyond this time. We could have easliy sold out for a few more hand claps but our standard show is better than most.

JSt. doesn't have room to have this type of mentality. If you're comparing yourself only to Valley and Alcorn...then, maybe. If you feel THAT confident in JSt ...then, there's no real foundation to that, therefore, making you look like you're talking just to be talking. No smack...so, no, this is not a Blade thing or an SU thing....seriously.

Well, that is your opinion. ...and also, that is just my observation. Not saying that I like it or tha I agree with it but JSU didn't "go all out" this time. They gave you what they had and you had to take it or leave it. ...and I STILL saw a lot of people give us the #2 spot. :lol: Recall, JSU faced SCState in 2008 in that Labor Day weekend battle of the band and SCState went unnoticed.
