North Alabama vs Alabama A&M: Game Updates - 6:00pm CT

Spady would have lost this game by 40.... I’m confident we will be ok in SWAC play. We are still playing without the SWAC sack leader from last year.
Shady<--I used to think it was the moderators but it is auto correct....LOL

I was trying to say Spady would have switched QBs and put his nephew in...we could have done much better if he had a clue....tough loss but yeah, I have nothing but good feelings about where this program is now headed....we have been way overdue better days in our football program...

Aqueel Glass didn't get playing time like he should have but he got enough meaningful experience in certain games. He didn't have any type of mentorship..this is really his freshman year imo receiving the proper guidance from Mai. Spady knew he had an arm and did nothing with it..AG even showed it in the 1st game vs UAB last year.

Glass would have thrown for 300 yards of Miles didn't drop that wide open TD pass...

was that the bomb AG threw in the 1st half when people in the stadium stood to their feet?...everyone had their eyes on the ball and when Miles dropped it all you heard was the loudest Ohhh That was 7 points left on the field.

You mean to tell me that the Dogs couldn’ beat UNA? lol....Tuskegee beat North Alabama on their own turf in Florence a few years ago. Better luck next time AAMU.

we had this game! it's like our coaches have mental lapse vs white schools at the wrong time in the game and lose it

I did not see it as a mental lapse.
It looked more like they lacked understanding of situational play. On that next to last drive we had a third down and 4. They should have recognized that we were in a four-down situation and thought about two plays to get the first down. Instead of throwing a 10 yard pass slanted towards the sideline, they should have run the ball or throw a much shorter pass. If that play had picked up some yards, we would have been closer to the first
down marker and would only have needed very short yardage to get the first down. We would have had a viable option of running or throwing another short pass. Instead, because we did not complete the third down pass, we still needed a relatively long 4 yards. Then they threw another relatively long incomplete pass on 4th down instead of a short pass just to pick up the first down. They should understand the need to just get the first down and that they would then have four new downs to try a long pass play.

One other thing. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but Coach Maynor had a long conversation with one of the black refs before the end of the first half. Needless to say the calls were not as lopsided in the second half.

That was it. Miles was really down on himself about it too
