TP........we are returning players that were missing last season. Didn't you read Joe S's article in the spring. Those players are already back. 3 OL that would have started. Depth should be much better on OL and DL this year. Don't know why we have to explain it to you.

Not to mention Coach Nivens has shown those kids some good things in his first year as OL coach. The only issue last season was depth. The OL was not bad, just got tired because they couldn't get ample rest during the game. They actually overachieved with 7 OL all year.......one of which was a undersized TE that moved to OT and ended up All-SWAC.

Even as depleted as the OL was last season.......our Qb still threw for 2300 yards and 23 TDs and only 4 picks. What you think he is going to do with a deeper OL this season. Our schedule is the same as last year. Besides U of H.....we played everybody last year. Tn State and FAMU aint no concern to us. Just like last season. Only 7 SWAC games that count........we are all good dude.

Hell I should be asking them why they are so confident? Just because the SWAC coaches and such picked them? Hell we know how wrong they have been before(Thanks Coach Broadway).

Right now everybody is 0-0 and can talk isht until kickoff. We will know soon enough.

I asked yesterday in another thread and nobody answer. i'm sure their in the spin..err.private room coming up with an answer as to why they have so much optimism. ( not to mention they have no qb or wr's) :lol:

GR, when the season jumps off don't say I didn't tell you so. You're about to see how stacked with talent we are. When we recruited just those 5 athletes, we didn't hurt ourselves one bit. I know this is hard for you to comprehend, but the talent here has been in the weight room and in the classroom. This is not a lie, you haven't seen our best players yet. But hey, we can show you better than we can tell you.

Dude, we can say the same thing. Do you know how many players we redshirted last year? Probably more than AAMU and definitely more than 5 (or should I say 2). Don't let these transfers fool you. Folks from JSU have already told yall that we have been signing high school athletes. They are redshirting and waiting in the wings. Go back and look at our recruiting classes. The transfers were a quick fix, and they brought home a championship. Now just imagine what our home grown guys could be capable of. But hey, we can show you better than we can tell you.
 
You're telling me this like I actually care, or are even remotely worried about what JSU has or has been sitting in the wings. Dude, I'm not worried about y'all AT ALL! Seriously. (Thanks MH) Look who is creating these threads. We know what we got, and we know we can and should win the SWAC this year and for years to come. Oh man, this is gonna be so funny REAL SOON.

Dude, AAMU's defense still hasn't been able to stop our offense. Even in Comegy's first year, we had yall by 3 TD's in the first half, but our defense got tired and we quit running the ball. Last year, we put up 500 yards on yall on offense. On defense, we held your best runner to 16 yards on 16 carries. We shut down Moody and we shut down Luke.

AJ paperdog defense is simply no match.....no match for Comegy's offense.
 
And y'all only won by 3 points. You shut us down and ran holes in our defense, and only won by 3 points???? IN OVERTIME AT THAT! Dude the game was a back and forwards game. Whoever had the ball last would have won.

Thank the refs again for swallowing their wistles and letting y'all run an illegal procedure to send the game into overtime.

Dude, I would't care if we won by .000001 points....we STILL won....on YOUR turf, after your LONG home winning streak.....on Senior Day, with NO BOOM, with the SWAC East title on the line, with a rebuilding team. It can't get no more clutch than that. Yall choked in the clutch, plain and simple, even to the point where Strawdog tried to call us Texas Southern TWICE, in hopes that we would play like them, but it didn't work.:smh:

dude....recruiting 5 players, of which only 2 showed up thanks hill, hurt you last year. when your players were falling out against jsu you couldn't answer with decent backups. and I can see that you are one of those folks that believes that a coach kept some better players on the sideline....sheeesh....oh well

are we going to get a 12 and 0 prediction from you this year? right now you are looking at 5 losses....jsu, gram, jville, tenn state, and pv at least. that's not counting the struggle you are going to have with valley and pb...wait....pb is a definite loss....that's 6 losses if you play all of those teams.

I could care less if you are worried about us or not. You should be worried about those AAMU players that could barely make it off the field against us last year. The dominance was noticeable. If Jimmy doesn't fumble on that scramble yall returned for a TD, you're looking at a 17-point margin, but I digress (thanks, mh).

I know, right? What that dude don't understand is that when you have the depth to rotate players as much as we did, you don't have many players to get the pre- and post-season awards. So I guess there is a disadvantage to being talented all across the board.

Sure, we get beat. Happens yearly. Not playing well is not an excuse. It's a fact of the game. In the game I was speaking of, we controlled the first half and didn't in the second half. Bama State rolled us from then .... no question about it.

You mentioned Roberts as our best, not me. I just mentioned him as our oldest. I just wanted you to know their names so you won't have to ask the dude next you, "How the f*ck we let that no-name split us? Who is that?"

Now, I could ask you the same questions. According to you, J-State ain't losing to none of us this year. Do you honestly think you are that better than anybody. You go on and on about our guys not being here in the summer .... you don't even know who your guys are yet.
