The net has been around since the 70's

But it didn't become a household term until the mid 90's.

That's how I got my username; I was 23 years old when I first used the internet in 1996 and "yvette23" was my first screen name.

Um, who didn't know that? Tell me genious, how many folks outside of the government used the internet for public use in the 80's or before 97? Black folks didn't even get cable or colored tv's until 2000. So what's your point? Like I always say, keep it real and life will keep it real for you. maybe it's a youngster generation thang. Dude, cats didn't even own Tv's when I was in college. We went to the student center or one of the well off cats room.

We did even in my day. Met and/or stayed (with on roadtrips) with frats and sorors from NC A&T, Grambling, FAMU, etc. Hell Brandmaster from A&T was the one who gave me my treble clef brand. It was all love.

 Then I should have seen you then because I saw Mike all the time and he wasn't even in the band when I crabbed.

But I feel u.....that's how I was with Tuskegee since they were right up the road.....u would have thought I was a student there. :emlaugh:

This why I am so glad the net wasn't wround back in the 80's and early 90's.

But even if it was, it wouldn't be like this. even when it was around in the late 90s, folks came on here and said what they wanted without all the attempted regulation. Its just sensitive now. I miss the old OLD Band Board. period.

Hey Cee....

I bet you can't name the school that's most accused of not having people show up at games to meet people? But, they'll clock into TSPN early Monday morning with what they "heard" happen.
