Dr. Sweet NUPE said:1. I am business casual meaing I wear a suit without a tie.
2. When meeting with a client I wear a tie; I keep 10 ties at work.
3. Depending on who the client is I choose from Boe Ties to long ties. I research my client and policy maker on how they dress.
4. I do not have a beard on mustache. Many of the policy makers and clients are former military so they are clean cut.
5. I am bald, but when I do grow my hair out, I line it with an eye brow archer nightly.
6. I keep my shoes shined and my shirts and suits are ALWAYS pressed.
7. I plan on buying a Range Rover Sport, but I will keep my 9 year old Prelude so that clients and my employer will think I am not living la vida loca.
8. I hate golf because it's boring, but I learned because my clients play.
9. I drink scotch, Glenlevit, single malted, 12 year aged, straight up with ice. Because it takes a long time to marinate so one drink is all I need.

As a matter of fact the first programming job I got when I did my interview the person giving it was a white woman and she had no problem with it considering my resume...and the fact that I could demonstrate that I had no problems doing the job I was applying for. Really to me its saying you have to conform to the way "they" want you to be and the fact that people are cool with it is kinda sad. I guess if they start saying no women with short haircuts or weave everyone will conform to that too.
