Nick Saban apologies to ESPN’s Maria Taylor

He needs to be called out way more than he is for what he constantly does

And not just Maria because she is a black woman but all of them

Folks making excuses for this pompous ass hole just like they're making for Trump.
There was no logical reason for him to respond the way he did, especially to a female reporter who did nothing wrong.
This guy should be reprimanded by his school, but we know they won't do it cause they're too scared.
Taylor showed more class, grace and maturiity than this man whose three times her age.

If I didn't know any better, that looked mighty damn racist the way he looked at her and said what he said the way he said it, especially to a woman who just happened to be Black.
And you got this sorry ass Galloway reporter who stupidly comes out and says that he understands why Saban was so upset. The woman did nothing wrong but he goes out of his way to defend Saban while leaving blame for the reporter. Just unbelievable.
It took an old white man to come to her defense.

Dude shut up. He's been doing this to white reporters for YEARS.

See, THIS is exactly what I'm talking about. When has Saban, face to face, ever talked to any white woman like this one on one?
Doing it in a press conference from a distance and not in your face is much different than doing it one on one in front of thousands.
I can't believe you guys are defending this tyrant!!! That's why the nutcase had to apologize.
HE knew he was wrong or he wouldn't have apologized, but we have "Black men" on this board defending this nonsense. Yall are even more disappointing than Saban.
At least he had the sense to admit a wrong, even Finebaum had the sense to call him out, but nooooo, not some of us so-called bruthas.

All you do is whine and complain and go overboard.

Female reporter? What's the difference? I can tell you a simp.

He could've talked to any kind of way. Black people in this love Alabama football more than themselves.

They love to use the term "we." The only thing I like to hear about out of Tuscaloosa is Avery Johnson.

Did you enjoy your time in Huntsville this weekend?

Call it what you will, but right is right and wrong is wrong.
If Saban had to amputate his arm, I betcha some of these folks on this forum would stand in line to give him theirs, no questions asked.

Naw bruh, BLACK female reporter. Get it right.
If calling out a wrong makes me a "simp", then I'll be one for that.
On the other hand, what does that make you?
Naw bru you should've sad black female reporter at first, you can't back track. Just saying "reporter" would've sufficed. Nick Saban does this to alot of reporters. I bet you don't say nothing when he does this to male reporters? Frequently i dont care he did this to her because he's known to do this.

Read post #7 and get back with us.

Dang Bruh! You beat me to it! You said the exact thing I was going to say down to the "we." LOL! We've obviously had similar observations.

Goodness the Nick Saban capes are on tight in here.

See why there’s “Men are Trash” things floating about

How do you like at someone in a racist way? How do you say something in a racist way? See this is why I can't take some of my people seriously. Liberals got most of us seeing racism in everything. Pathetic.

I said "kind of" because in my opinion, it's highly doubtful that he would've used this tone and demeanor with a white female reporter in an up close and personal way.
Just my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.
And I am old enough to recognize how white men spoke to Black women (and Black men) back in the day, so if that's pathetic to you, then perhaps you have forgotten history.
And liberals don't have me thinking anything cause I think for myself.

While I think his reaction to the question was unprofessional, I didn’t get his response being racist. It was a culmination of the QB issue being an offseaon long storyline and him being tired of talking about it. That’s why he exploded on Maria Taylor.

But he brought that frustration on himself in a lot of ways by being coy with who the QB was going to be up until Week 1. At that school, on that team, he has to know that question was going to get asked.

Saban has said worse to grown White men. While I honor our history I'm oriented towards the future.
