It's funny with all these Bees and Puppies in here ..... the damn conference is in their state, but they can't make an appearance to the conference's biggest spring event?

I can understand J-State talking .... at least they got B-Ball and maybe AAMU for winning football in what was obviously a *&%&% year, but Grumbling and Bamma State, are you serious?

Hell, Jackson State couldn't even win baseball or softball because of who?

If it is not PV next year, it just maybe Tex. So. or some other West team. The point is that SU can not be assured of a championship in any sport now, even baseball, and I know this is especially upsetting to the Jags. The SUers just must learn to deal with the reality that things have changed.

LOL. So what you are saying we have no talent in anything enough to win a SWAC title? Surely you jest. LOL. I can see if we struggled to even get to the tourney in baseball or that our track team was so sad that they couldn't do anything or that bowling was so sad that we are done or that we absolutely have no chance in football despite the majority of a young team coming back. I mean Spivery and Pugh might as well tell all them good recruits they got and folks they have coming back that we have no possible chance of winning the SWAC because everybody else is better than us now. Wow........you are a right. It will be a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggg time before SU gets any type of SWAC title. Oh lawd what is we gone do. Po SU. Alabama State women, Grambling men capture SWAC titles

April 22, 2007

Troy, AL ? The Lady Hornets of Alabama State captured the 2007 Southwestern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field women?s championship. The Tigers of Grambling State captured their second consecutive men title, after also claiming the top team honors in the 2006 championship. Alabama State finished with 190 points, while the G-Men finished 181 points.
