New Edition NE Heartbreak Movie Trailer


I didn't know something like this was about to be released. So when is this coming out? Will this be a national release? I admit as I watched the trailer, I had flashbacks of my adolescent years, LOL. ...but you never know with these movie documentaries. It could be good or it could disappoint...I definitely want to check this out.
 



Looks pretty good for a small independent film.

Maybe it will make it to the theaters or maybe not. I wouldn't put my money on it.

Maybe BET or TV One will pick it up instead of letting Lifetime, VH1 or Bravo scoop it up first.

Nice! It did take me back to my childhood. Hopefully it's a good movie. NE is one of the best groups in R&B.
 
This is the type shit that OWN should have....along with Black College Football. To me OWN is just another lifetime network.

LOL @ Beans. I agree. I am a NE fan. Hell my KKPSI Pledge Line is named after them as we sang many of their songs while pledging. LOL. I like the intent. But I need NE to be done with a bigger budget with better actors/performers than that trailer. It didn't move me like the NWA one did. So I will pass on this one. Michael Bivins made enough money to have some connections to help with their story.

Right!!! Let one of them do their own story or something. That crappy production does not do justice to their story.

Yep. As they should. I would hope the NE cats including Bobby Brown try to maintain control on who plays them and what is portrayed in a movie about them. Their story has the making of a pretty good movie. From the fact they came from the Boston projects, Maurice Starr's involvement with them and how that went, The unsung NE member Brooke Payne who really managed them and is Ronnie's Uncle. The breakup with them and Bobby Brown, and their comeback with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis producing them and adding Johnny Gill. The solo attempt of Ralph and Johnny and the BBD success on to Bivins and his discovering Boys II Men and all the stuff in between and their ultimate tour together with Bobby back in the fold. Man they have a lot of material to a movie could cover if done right. Modern day Temptations like movie.
 
Y'all right...this need to be in the movies instead of TV unless it'll get temptations treatment and spread over 2 nights

Lifetime will water it down worse than a cheap drink
