New filings from Dominion Voting Systems were released on Wednesday, responding to Fox News' request for summary judgment from the lawsuit.

In their response, Dominion begins, "Finally, Fox has conceded what it knew all along. The charges Fox broadcast against Dominion are false. Fox does not spend a word of its brief arguing the truth of any accused statement. Fox has produced no evidence—none, zero—supporting those lies."

It goes on to say: "If Fox cared about the truth that it now acknowledges, Fox would have its top personalities reporting that truth to its audience. Today. If not for Dominion's sake, then for the sake of the significant percentage of Americans who still wrongly believe the 2020 election was stolen—including so many of Fox's own loyal viewers, who heard it over and over again on Fox's airwaves. After all, as Rupert Murdoch himself admitted, Fox is 'uniquely positioned to state the message that the election was not stolen,' though Fox failed to do so back when it most mattered."

Those folks don't care. They like being lied too. Just like when the news of Tucker's true feelings broke....these weirdos claimed the texts were photoshopped.

As long as what Fox and Tucker says on the air waves serves the interest of white supremacy the truth is of little value to them. In other words, in the interest of white supremacy, it is by any means necessary, to include usage of lying, conspiracy theories, hoaxes, manufactured scandals and defamation if needed.

The whole ideology behind white supremacy is a lie, so where is the need for truth to be of any value to those types except when it suits their evil agenda?

Hit them in their pockets and make them pay dearly. That's all that matters to them...

Fox News settles with man accused of rigging election — experts say it may be beginning of the end

Fox News reached a settlement on Sunday with a Venezuelan businessman Majed Khalil, who accused the network of making false claims about him rigging the 2020 U.S. presidential election, according to Insider.

Khalil filed a $250 million defamation suit against the news outlet and former host Lou Dobbs, for spreading falsehoods that he played a key role in "orchestrating a non-existent scheme to rig or fix the election" against former President Donald Trump.

After the 2020 election, Dobbs went on Twitter and accused the businessman of being a "liaison with Hezbollah" who had executed an "electoral 9-11." He even referred to the 2020 election as a "cyber Pearl Harbor."

A letter sent to District Judge Louis Stanton in Manhattan said both parties had reached a "confidential agreement to resolve this matter" and expected to file a joint stipulation of dismissal next week.

"If Fox is required to pay large settlements and judgments for defamation, then it will have to consider modifying its conduct in the future," former U.S. Attorney Barb McQuade, a law professor at the University of Michigan and MSNBC contributor, told Salon. "Of course, it may be that defaming political targets is good for ratings and for profits. If so, then Fox may consider large legal payments to just be the cost of doing business."

But if they won't be forced to admit their wrongdoing on all their shows for doing it, the sheep will never know or even care. Make them fess up on the air at the begining, during and end of every show for some time.

Fox News and Dominion reach $787.5M settlement just before defamation trial was set to begin

Fox News has agreed to settle the $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed against the network over its broadcast of lies aimed at undercutting public confidence in the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

The network and Dominion Voting Systems agreed to a $787.5 million settlement Tuesday, according to Dominion attorney Justin Nelson, just as attorneys were set to outline their case to jurors ahead of trial testimony in what has been the most closely watched media trial in decades.

"The truth matters," Nelson said. "Lies have consequences."

Details of the settlement were not immediately available. Dominion sued Fox News and its parent corporation in 2021, claiming the network knowingly broadcast lies being perpetuated by former President Donald Trump and his attorneys as he clung to power in the months after his 2020 election loss.

Don’t Worry! There’s Another $2.7 Billion Case Against Fox News Coming Soon.

“Thank you, Jesus,” a woman exclaimed inside the courthouse after Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems announced they had reached a $787.5 million settlement in a would-be blockbuster defamation case. Many court watchers and general Fox haters had another reaction: what a letdown.

If you are in the latter camp, fear not: There may soon be another chance to see Fox defend itself in court. Shortly after the settlement announcement, J. Erik Connolly, a lawyer for Smartmatic, issued a statement: “Dominion’s litigation exposed some of the misconduct and damage caused by Fox’s disinformation campaign. Smartmatic will expose the rest.” Sequel!

So what is Smartmatic exactly? Based in London, Smartmatic is another voting-tech company that got wrapped up in Donald’s Trump’s election misinformation campaign and ended up on Fox News. The company is seeking a whopping $2.7 billion in damages from Fox, $1 billion more than Dominion had. The lawsuit specifically names Fox News hosts Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro, and Lou Dobbs, though Pirro managed to dodge the suit and was removed because she only indirectly blamed Smartmatic on her show. (Meanwhile, Dobbs’ program was yanked off the air shortly after the suit was filed.)

Fox has repeatedly tried to have the case thrown out, making the same argument that failed in the Dominion case—calling it “baseless” and likening it to a “full-blown assault on the First Amendment.” Unfortunately for Fox but fortunately for everyone who feels robbed today, a New York judge has already allowed the case to move forward, citing in a 61-page ruling Fox’s “reckless disregard for the truth.”

Ted Cruz, one of Trump's staunchest MAGA allies, was begging Fox News behind the scenes to show 'demonstrable facts' and evidence before repeating Trump's 2020 election lies

  • Ted Cruz was recorded in 2020 urging Maria Bartiromo to make sure she had her facts straight.
  • Cruz told Bartiromo to ensure she had evidence for any election fraud claims aired on Fox News.
  • Cruz later joined several hardline MAGA senators in voting to not certify the 2020 election results.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz warned a Fox News host in 2020 about needing "demonstrable facts" to back up MAGA election fraud claims — indicating that he, too, was concerned the false allegations weren't grounded in evidence.

A recording of Cruz's conversation with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo was obtained and aired by MSNBC's Ari Melber on a Thursday episode of his show "The Beat."

Cruz and Bartiromo spoke over the phone on November 7, 2020, per MSNBC. It was the day before Rudy Giuliani — who at the time was then-President Donald Trump's personal lawyer — was scheduled to appear on Bartiromo's show.

"It can't just be, you know, somebody tweeted this. It's got to be demonstrable facts that can be laid out with evidence," Cruz cautioned Bartiromo. "Because that's what a court of law is gonna look into, not just an allegation, but actual facts."

Cruz said he hoped Giuliani "had some of those facts" to present in his appearance the next day on Bartiromo's show.
