at the end of the day, it showed how valuable leadership with athletics experience is, so situations like that don't occur - ball literally was dropped, and interim head coach did what he had to do to preserve the program's integrity

He got lucky Rated R. He blew the game against PV, got gifted by Valley, rescued by our QB at SU and needed VUL to finish over 500. He could of went 7-4 or at least 6-5 his first year if he didn't blow the game against SU, and the players didn't lose the game against Lamar.
Unless that transfer QB from SU has significantly improved or our defense is a monster his days are numbered. Leonard is reading the room right, but there will be additional factors forcing a change unless Dishman can go 7-4 or better. There is a slight chance he might survive with a 6-5 record since VUL nor any D2 opponents are on the schedule..
