Career suicide??? Alois Blackwell was A.D. nearly ten years, Charles McClelland ten or more years and Kevin Granger was on his seventh year with an extension through 2029.Don’t do it Ashley! We have been telling folks for years. It's finally starting to sink in for some. In this case, it happens to be the right move though. So, the sTu BOR rescinded the MBBALL coach? The news reported it as flexing its muscle. TH is going on w/ that political climate?![]()

the sonic boom you heard across the south when the tweet came out was every SWAC coach who wanted the job but was scared to apply will now think they have a shot again if they don't keep the tag on long-term and try to coach their azz off in the H&PE lol
Legend, nothing is ever a done deal at my TSU until it's done.So what is this going to accomplish? If the decision is made its a done deal.
It is an embarrassing and messy process. These circus acts will remain a constant at my TSU as long as governors appoint clowns to our board.TXSU is so embarrassing at this point!
Looks like those players that were protesting better be searching for a new team. lolTexas Southern University approves controversial basketball hire

The Texas Southern University Board of Regents has officially approved the hiring of former Seton Hall assistant coach Corey Lowery after a vote during a special session.
The board approved university president James W. Crawford III's recommendation on Wednesday morning with six votes in favor and one vote against. Additionally, the board approved the hiring of its new athletic director, Ashley Robinson.
"Coach Lowery has won at every level and every stop of his career," Crawford SAID in a press release sent to Chron. "Beyond constructing winning rosters and producing on the court, he is a maker of men off the court. I am confident that he will continue Texas Southern basketball's championship tradition into the University's next century."
