We all know that the selection committee had too much to drink when they made Hampton a #3 seed. We all know that Hampton should have been a #2. I hope that they whip Richmond on Saturday night. I am rooting for the Pirates.

I'm so glad my team plays in the SWAC.

This is not a playoff. A playoff represent the entire nation and has teams from every region in the country. :look:

Just curious....which region is being left out?

The 16 teams are from 14 different states. Virginia and Illinois have two each.

Northeast: New Hampshire, Lafayette, Colgate
Southwest: Texas St.
Southeast: Ga. Southern, Nicholls St., Furman
West: Eastern Wash., Cal Poly, Montana
Midwest: Northern Iowa, Southern Ill., Eastern Ill.
Atlantic Coast: Richmond, Hampton, Appalachian St.

The regions that doesn't represent all the conference champions that were left out in favor of second and third place teams from the A-10, BigSky and Southland.
