NCAA’s amateurism rule exploits black athletes as slave labor

Let's be honest....the sports with the focus are football and basketball because the primary color of the athlete is black. Technically it is about race and has nothing to do with a moral issue or any of that other bullshit. The schools want total control over black athletes.

I'm in support of players being paid. Hell they place restrictions on them about working....

Everyone should comprehend this: "get what you can, while you can, because when you are no longer useful to the high schools, colleges, sneaker companies, pro teams, etc, they will discard you quicker than a gum wrapper."

You're only as useful as what you are capable of producing/doing.

My wife and I tell my son this. When he was in Haynesville he lived for playing football for the white coach. The coach hates me. We sorta got in to it when my wife and I got married. The coach wanted my son to stay and live with his grandmother just to play football. My wife called and complained to him and he hung up in her face. Enter, me....the husband. I set up a meeting with the principal and coach. I went in with a suit and told the coach very calmly, "We as parents raise our children. If my son were white would this conversation be happening."

Now the sorry peckerwood does not want to send any of his players to GSU or any HBCU for that matter. Fuck him. The sad part is you have a ton of black folk who praise this dude. During a game against Arcadia , one of his BLACK players was injured. I told him how to stretch his ankle. The black coach from Arcadia (who was the opposing team) called time out because he knew recruiters were there looking at the kid. The cracker coach from Haynesville didn't give a shit.

As I have told my son, you see the measure of a coach by the fruit that he bears. If you have players who end up back at home talking about the championship they won 20 years ago every football season at every game then to me he's not much of a coach.

Your brutal and abrasive honesty is repetitive w/ a lot of us, Found. Unfortunately, we see a LOT of that now and even during our time when we were students.

I love this quote from several of the coaches.... "you're just like a son to me...." lol & smh. As much a son as it takes for him to keep putting out physically garnering those "Ws" so that ol' boy can maintain his and his family's high standard of living. s...m....h

Yea during the conversation the white coach tried to say "well he's like a son to me." I just shook my head. After he left I stayed and chatted it up with the principal who is a brother. He said that he has never seen a black parent besides himself speak to the coach in that manner.

The principal's son does not play football only basketball. They have a black coach.

HBCUs are better off breaking away from the NCAA and putting football and basketball players on the payroll.

Really, when the stories break out, do they every mention the people that gives them the money? It is most of the time the black athlete that is being hung to dry!

They don't hear you. How many times have we heard about this with white kids?

Why is it never the country white boy from Bunkhouse, Tenn where he milked cows and birthed piglets but can block like nobody's business. They don't go after him? What about these kids from Frisco or Allen, Texas.

It's ALWAYS a boy from the hood with no father and hood mother. When are we going to have THAT conversation? Where is BLM, Shaun King and the rest to protect them?

And what NBA or NFL team is going to bother looking at those kids? What network will broadcast those games? YOu would see all sorts of shady mess if that happened.

Let's see...

Play 3rd string at an SEC school for a free education and no look from NFL scouts...

Or

Start at an HBCU for 20,000 annual salary on top of a free education and a chance to go pro?

Most of the time, it is the black kid from the inner city and the name is booster

You told truth!
