Being that I was there at both the BOTB and the Game, plus Im from the SWAC (AAMU). I'll tell you my view.
The BOTB was tie. Both bands had great song selection. NCAT - MFU, Can You Feel it, Heather Hedley, NECK, Torture, That new song by Big Boi, Big Balling, Velvet Robe, and some others.
SU played: Do what you Wanna, Turn off the lights, Crazy in Love, In Those Jeans, Black National Athem, Total Praise, SKIN & PIMP sucked big time.
The only negatives in SU BOTB. They got house off that Coonish DM/Skool Daze Frat Crap.
The Percussion Battle was okay.
The Game was won by A&T.
SU didnt play alot other than: SU#2, system of Survival, NECK, & Boogie Wonderland. I guess they were too busy chanting "Defense Jags Defense" and having Crabs making a fool of themselves. *It was funny) A&T was cranking MFU, Aggie spirit, Trombone fanfares, Tuba Punches, Stand Moves, etc.
Halftime: A&T handsdown.
SU did the same show they've been doing for the past 25 years. NO one recognized any of the songs they were playing in the drill except for "In the Stone". They got house off the white boy Cooning and the Busted Star Drill. Drills were clean, just the song selection could have been better. The dolls are so FINE!!!!!!!
A&T drilled off of India Arie's "WonderFull" and Mary J. Blidge/Method Man's new song. The Golden Delight routine was pretty good. Dance routine was crisp and full of Energy.
2nd half: SU started to play more, with songs like Crazy In Love, The Tribute to Sean Paul, Leave Me Along, and a better version of P.I.M.P., but A&T was matching them with NECK, and the super Loud version of "ESPN" which cut through SU's "Before I Let Go". Freight Train raped SU's Trombones. SU's B-tone fanfare was nice. Props to SU on the B-tones.
Sectionals:
Trombones: NCAT
Trumpets: Neither one was that impressive (suprised at this)
F-Horns: SU
Tubas: NCAT
B-tones: SU by a mile
Percussion: both were good (tie)
Woodwinds: A&T (Su has 20 WW) NO contest.
A&T did a better job than SU to me. SU was no where near SLAW, but A&T had more fire than they did. Good Job Aggies.

We're all entitled to opinions SUtrp, but I was there, and A&T was clearly the better band that Saturday.
SU had some high points: Crazy In Love, Leave Me alone, B-Tone Fanfare, Can You Feel it, and the Turn off the lights part of the Battle of the Bands, but A&T was bringing POWER, Great Song slection, Balance, control, and they didnt have a White boy P-popping at the 50 yard line.
SU was good, but NCAT was better.

Did I say that NCAT just killed yall?
Did I say that SU had a Bad Drill?
The Majority of the FANS on SU's side where guess what FROM SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY!!!!!
You getting all puffed up on the "All Mighty SU". A&T was the better band that weekend. Take the L and STFU talking to me.
