 Been waiting on this for a few years. Now it will become reality. One of the key pieces to the puzzle.

We are pretty set at the 4 & 5 position if he comes over. Hopefully Rose can stay healthy and Butler develops a better jumper this year

Set at the 4 and 5 where?

Gibson is gonna start. Noah is gonna start. But there are no viable backups at those positions.

If you look at what I originally posted, I said IF he comes over. He'd have a chance to be a good backup. Also Greg Smith and/or Anthony Randolph will be looked at to play the Center position.

He's coming over.

Those guys (Greg Smith and Anthony Randolph) can't play basketball.

You can win a championship with a solid 3 man rotation at the 4 & 5 position. Spurs just prove that with Splitter, Diaw and Duncan. Not sure why you making it complicated.

As far as Smith and Randolph go, you don't really need them to score. You just need either one to play against defense and spare Noah some time.

The Bulls were the worse offense team in the NBA last year. They need as much offensive production as possible.

Randolph and Smith aren't solid. Those guys probably won't even be on the roster when the season starts.

Randolph and Smith aren't solid. Those guys probably won't even be on the roster when the season starts. Heck, Smith couldn't get run over old azz Nazr Muhammad.

If you need your backup PF to score you're in trouble. This is why the Bulls need Carmelo and need a healthy D-Rose.

Dude you act like these dudes can't do better than what Nazr did the past couple of seasons. They are younger and will be able to play better defense, which will allow Noah to rest more. You are too worried about scoring.

If the Bulls weren't worrying about scoring, why did they trade two first-round picks to get McDermott? What are they sniffing around for Melo, Love and others? They know the offense needs to be improved a lot.

That series against Washington was embarrassing in the offensive end. Heck, the regular season was that way too to the point where Thibs had Noah playing point center to generate something on offense. I don't want to watch that again.

The Bulls need as many versatile guys on the roster as possible, especially guys who can provide some offense off the bench.

Now you are talking about something completely different. At least stick to one topic and if you're not able to just admit to being wrong. You brought up a comment that I made about the 4 and 5 position but now you are trying to save face and discuss the whole team.

Btw, Nazr only average 1.6 pts a game last year from the 5 position. No doubt in my mind that Smith and/or Randolph can do better than that to help provide offense.

The Pistons offered isiah thomas a 3 yr 24 million dollar deal. Kings have 48 hrs too much. Also alot of teams are showing interest in PF Greg Monroe for a sign and trade deal. Interesting

He hasn't accepted that contract yet, so the Kings have more time. He will be getting offers from a few others as well.

I don't expect either Smith or Randolph to be on the roster for the '14-'15 season. Randolph will be traded. We may even see Lance Stephenson in a Bulls uniform. He was being rumored before the Carmelo free agent frenzy...

They possibly could be traded. I'm speaking as if they were to actually be on the roster. Smith was rumored to have a chance to be the backup Center. He was signed to this upcoming season back when we got him. He was considered to be one of the best backup Centers before the Rockets got D12 and Asik. I'd like to have Stephenson and move Butler back over to the 3 position where he belongs.

No way you guys get Stephenson and Melo....yall need to choose who you want or you will be trading half of your team. Unless you have the necessary cap space. *waits*

I just don't trust Stephenson. His antics in the playoffs are not something John Paxson and Gar Forman would want on the Bulls. They don't go after players like that any more.

Of course not both but we'd need to have a backup plan in case Melo chooses to go somewhere else.

Yeah i know. I am sure other teams like the Lakers and etc will make offers as well. i wish pistons would do a sign and trade with him. We give them Josh Smith
