You had too many folks on those team that wouldn't put up with any mess. So Artest & Rodman behaved. You saw the Lakers toss Andrew Bynum away and seem to be justified in doing so with his antics everywhere else.

We want to stand up and clap when these guys try to form super teams because the team that they are on seems to have trouble putting a team around them.

Has anybody asked that maybe other players DON'T want to play around Melo, Lebron and others? Look at the distraction some of these guys have been.

When the team wins it's all about them but if they lose it's the rest of the team's fault. Look at the Magic & Cavs-those players got called everything in the book and pretty much gave up.

You can't keep trading/signing for names so you can get attention.

Who is that 4 some going to scare? Bosh, Melo, Wade & James? Who is going to be the bench? Trey Johnson & some D-League guys? Teams aren't scared of them.

And we cry about Lance Stephens on what he did to your precious cash cow James. Rodman would consider Stephens a boyscout. Rodman would have kicked out of today's game years ago.

One of those great players is Carmelo Anthony, and Coach K had some kind words for Melo.

“I love Carmelo,” Krzyzewski said. “I’ve been with him from the start when I took over USA Basketball. He’s been a great team player for us. He can score. That’s what he is supposed to do. But he can defend and rebound too.”

“At the London Olympics, I asked Carmelo to come off the bench,” Krzyzewski said. “He said, ‘Look, Coach, I’ll do anything you want me to do.’ He came off the bench and was one of our leading scorers. He did anything he could to help us win. He’s a wonderful team player.”

LeBron James Reportedly Opts to Become Free Agent

Break out your "take my talents" jokes from 2010. LeBron James reportedly has exercised his early termination option for the 2014-15 NBA season and will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

If Melo stays, he'll get max money. The Knicks will have to convince LBJ to take less money. (shoot, they probably won't have enough dough for two guys right now without shedding a lot of salary) He's not gonna take less money to play in New York while Melo makes more than him.

He's staying in Miami if Wade opts out. If not, I can see him going to NYC. Who knows? Melo might be using the same tactic Wade pulled off in 2010. By the way, **** D. Wade...

Phil Jackson will find a way if there is interest from LeBron. The NBA doesn'thave a hard salary cap like the NFL, so the Knicks can pay Carmelo and LeBron max money if they truly don't mind paying the luxury tax. Carmelo will make more just based on the salary structure, but LeBron will get the maximum allowed deal anywhere he goes.

That NY team is a complete mess. Him and Melo will go some where else before going to NYC. Why not go to the Chi or Clippers? Miami might do a sign and trade for Griffin and a 1st round pick. CP3, Melo, and LBJ would be deadly.
 
Lebron going to houston. Dwight Howard will make Lebron job alot easier plus Harden can play off the ball so Lebron can play PG sometimes. Book it. Lebron will be a Rocket.
 



If wade and bosh opt in, LBJ is not longer a Heatle....if not, I think he will stay and let pat riley shake some things around and fix the roster. The only teams I see Melo going to is Houston, CHICAGO, or back to NY. I am strongly leaning towards Melo to the Bulls. LBJ will either go to Cleveland, NY, or back to be a Heatle IF Bosh and Wade both take pay cuts and Riley tells him what he wants to hear. If either bosh or wade opt in, LBJ will not return. I would like to see LBJ go to the 76ers or my Celtics but neither will happen. He will be a charlotte bobcat before becoming a LAKER so sorry Lake-show fans hahahahaha

Harden doesn't play PG anyway. Troy Daniels would end up getting a lot more minutes than he does now.
 
After living in Miami.... the only other places his WIFE would want to move to would be NYC or L.A. The wife DOES have a say so in this!

I know he don't play PG but down the scretch he had to. he can play more off the ball alot more. I think Troy is a young player. He def should play more. i like the kid


My reference to Howard making Lebron job easier is because Lebron wouldn't have to do as much like he did in Miami because Howard is a true post player who can protect the paint. Lebron would score, pile up assist numbers and play defense.
