The whole point of having a career is to make as much money as possible for as long as you can.
I know it's not complaining about rich people shouldn't want more money.

Anyway if Melo takes that Knicks money-I don't want to hear him cry about not winning a title. He had his chance to leave and go to a better team.
Besides I would think a ring would open more doors to getting more money. Especially outside of the NBA.
If he wants more money, he needs to take the money he has left that Lala didn't waste and make it work for him in other ways like Cuban and Jerry Jones do.
But then again I am talking about a black guy-who probably hasn't been taught that.
Melo is 30. This is the last time he's gonna have an opportunity to get a max contract. If he signs with Chicago, Dallas or Houston, he will be leaving $60 million on the table. Sixty million dollars that he will not make ever again.

Harden doesn't have a max deal. Lin will be traded this summer.

I smell sarcasm....atleast I hope that is sarcasm lol. Danny Granger-the guy who really dislikes LeBron goes to the Heat, and McRoberts-the guy that elbowed Lebron in the neck.
