This whole Melo to the Lakers isn't real. They won't be in a position to contend for the title next year even with Melo on the roster.

It's either NY or Chicago.

The Big 3 are all seeking max or near max deals. Unless that mindet changes, they won't be back in Miami.

I don't believe any of that. Wade would have stayed opted in and so would have Bosh and got their 20 Million instead of risking having to negotiate with Riles. No way they think they can get a MAX deal and stay. Hell they can't get a Max deal( whatever the number is for going to another team) from any team. Bosh may be able to fool somebody. Wade can't.

This all talk to stir the pot. Riley done told them boys he ain't signing them to Max deals. Well he told Wade and Bosh. Lebron is the only one who will get it if he stays.

I think the Pacers should go after Jameer Nelson for a PG...George Hill is dumpster juice..

Yep. A lot of folks should go after him. Even the Rockets if they can't get Rondo in a trade. Nelson will take less money because he already got 8 million coming to him from Orlando.

Kobe flew in from his vacation to be at the meeting Lol..it may be real

D-Rose met with him in Chicago. Howard and Harden met with him in Houston. Dirk sat down with him in Dallas. It is no surprise Kobe wants to chat, too. All part of the process.

Phoenix ain't close to getting a championship. He might as well stay in NYC with Phil Jackson. Golden State is closer than Phoenix. So is Houston and Dallas. Even Portland.

Unless Phoenix plans to add Melo and Lebron then they will not be a threat with just Melo, Bledsoe and Dragic.

I wasn't really talking about Melo and Lebron, more so the other free agents.

Paul Pierce may become a clipper...Clippers are in talks with a sign and trade deal with the Nets

Well Doc wanted him and Garnet to come with him to the Clippers when left Boston. But the commish(Stern) told him and the Clippers that couldn't happen. I guess Stern thought some funny business was going on with that whole Doc to L.A. situation.
Paul can now retire at home.

The other Free Agents still is not enough to get Phoenix over the hump just yet. They need another draft and another round of FA. Actually next year is supposed to be a deeper and better FA class.

The Wildcard team are the Wizards...if they stay healthy, they will be tough in the EAST

Even with the Big 3 coming back, they still need to add players to that roster....I mean, how much will Wade give you this upcoming season, if he even plays half of the season..and Bosh inconsistent play in the playoffs...I don't know who they can add

Yea, but can a PP compete now...dude will be what 36 or 37...how much in the tank does he have?

I don't know. The Lakers are going to do something. So it would not shock me if they got Melo to sign. One thing Melo does know is Kobe will come back and play. He can't be sure of what D Rose will do. He don't have that Kobe drive and push to get back on the floor. I say that and I ain't a Kobe fan. But I know that dude's ego and pride will drive him to be ready to play. Rose still acts like he kind of timid about everything.

We are more so aimed at making the playoffs. I have no problem admitting that we won't come close to a title anytime soon, but being a consistent playoff team is definitely realistic even for next season. We missed our title window back when we had Nash and Amare and couldn't get past San Antonio a few years ago.

I think yall have some good players over there, just that West is loaded Lol...

He can't be sure of what either will do since both have been injury plagued for the past two years.

That was going to be $40-44M in the short term, then in 2 years they'd get much less for future contracts. Now, if they sign a 4 year deal for near max dollars (lets say $18M/year), they'd get $72M guaranteed. So yes, this is probably real.

Pelicans trying to give away Gordon...man get this dude off the books asap...smh

Pacers should go after Rondo...

Only 1 year for Kobe. Sorry dude. Rose has been out 2 full seasons. Kobe played the first season Rose was out.

Not that much of difference Kobe missed this season and the postseason of the previous season. Kobe is older and doesn't have a better supporting cast than Rose.

Rose is going to play this season unless he gets hurt either with USA basketball or in the preseason.

Yes!!!! It is getting ridiculous now. I think the commish is going to be forced to change the playoffs setup. Might have to go to just seeding teams 1-16 and scrapping the Eastern and Western Conference playoff stuff.

I still don't buy they think Miami is going to give them that and they can still win. Riley ain't dumb and he ain't a type to not tell players what is up. They know they ain't getting no 18 million either. Notice they ain't saying isht. It is the agents. They have to act like that for their clients. They want the money for themselves as well. LOL.

Wade and Bosh personally know Miami ain't giving them MAX deals. They knew it before the season was over. Now that they opted out. They are fugged. If they try to play hard ball with Riley. They might get let go all together. Plenty of FA's would show up in Miami then to play with Lebron. Actually it would not be a bad idea for the Heat management to play hard ball with Bosh and Wade. Wade has no leg to stand up at all. Literally in some sense. All talk. I like to see them tell Riley and Arison they want Max deals. LOL.

That's why I think only 1 or 2 of them re-sign with Miami at all.

If such a system was in place last season, the only thing that would have changed was the Suns making the playoffs instead of the Hawks.

But the actual seedings would have been different. Miami probably would not have made it out the 2nd round.

It wouldn't just affect the teams getting into the playoffs, it would even out the matchups too. That way you won't have the West just beating up on each other while The Heat just breeze through to the finals.
