1) Did you miss the part about having a head coach, with no NBA experience?

2) So what did they do with Hardaway, Alonzo Mourning, Gray Payton, and Eddie Jones

3) What's this?

In his first trip to the NBA Finals, in which Miami faced off against the Dallas Mavericks, Wade had some especially memorable moments. His performance in games three, four, and five, in which he scored 42, 36, and 43 points,[24][25] respectively, helped bring the Heat back from a 0–2 deficit to lead the series 3-2. In Game 3 Wade tied his career playoff high with 42 points and grabbed a career high 13 rebounds.[26] Fifteen of his 42 points came in the fourth quarter, in which the Heat erased a 13-point deficit over the final 6:29 with a 22–7 run which included a go-ahead jumper by NBA veteran Gary Payton that sealed the win.[27] The Heat went on to win Game 6 behind Wade's 36 points, taking the series 4–2, and Wade was presented with the Finals MVP trophy.[28] He became the fifth youngest player in NBA history to capture NBA Finals MVP honors and recorded the third highest scoring average by a player in his first NBA Finals with 34.7 points per game.[12][29] His 33.8 PER in the NBA finals was ranked by ESPN's John Hollinger as the greatest Finals performance since the NBA-ABA merger.[30]

Man we got our coach, you already know who it's going to be.

Kobe getting pi@@ off that they're phuggin around with it. I guess they want to do it all in one swoop

The Lakers should of went after Gordon Hayward and Lance Stevenson.

1. Look at the all the rookie head coaches in recent years who have made the playoffs without a guy like LeBron, and tell me the Cavs couldn't do the same and go beyond that with LeBron, Irving and Love. I'll wait.

2. I'm talking about after they won the title in 2006.

:read:

I don't think that matters when it comes to LeBron.

Ok let me get this straight. He couldn't win when he had a veteran team and a veteran coach at Cleveland, even though they led the league in scoring each time.

But this time he'll be able to do it, with an unproven team and an unproven coach, with no NBA experience?

Did I get that right?

Yep because LBJ could be surrounded by better players (I'm totally basing this on if the Cavs add other pieces or a star like Love) than those 2007-10 teams.

FWIW, Mike Brown wasn't a seasoned HC when the Cavs went to the Finals in 2007. He was in his second year.

K are you losing your mind? I don''t care how you look at it, this team doesn't and won''t have a D Wade and Chris Bosh on it.

Then you want to play semantics with the head coaching situation? Mike Brown had years of NBA experience, this guy has none!

Hell nobody even knows anything about him. What's is he going to do when Lebron mama let that Cougar get loose?

What's is he going to do, when Lebron go back to his old ways at home?

Who's going to make up the bench?

Do you realize Lebron will be 30 in Dec.? There's not a lot of window left to be building a team around him.

If everything falls into place, in all likelihood, he might be able to squeeze one more ring out of him.

1. David Blatt has been a very successful international coach even though he hasn't coached in the NBA. Better resume than when Mike Brown was hired who was only an assistant prior to heading to Cleveland, not a head coach.
2. Everyone has declared Wade dead. So him not being alongside LeBron doesn't seem to be an issue.
3. All this stuff you mentioning about LeBron's mom and him reverting to his old behavior is so disengenous.
4. If LeBron goes to Cleveland, he will have reinforcements coming. It's been reported he contacted Mike Miller and other guys who he played with in Miami.

I always believed that I’d return to Cleveland and finish my career there. I just didn’t know when. After the season, free agency wasn’t even a thought. But I have two boys and my wife, Savannah, is pregnant with a girl. I started thinking about what it would be like to raise my family in my hometown. I looked at other teams, but I wasn’t going to leave Miami for anywhere except Cleveland. The more time passed, the more it felt right. This is what makes me happy.
