PHIL, WHERE IS YOUR SO-CALLED MVP, YOU KNOW THIS LITTLE BOY CAN'T CHECK ME...lol"

This loss is all on Phil. He refused to play Ariza on Pierce or Allen like he did in the first half, and he let Farmer play instead of Fisher in the clutch.
Maybe he was the mole instead of the refs. I can't understand some of his coaching tonight, not at all.

Phil has always been overrated to me... He won those other championships because he had the most dominant player (Mike/Shaq) and two quality helpers (Pippen/Kobe). Just like he couldn't win with "just Pippen", he's won't win with "just Kobe".

RAY ALLEN!

RAY ALLEN!

RAY ALLEN!

After a Lakers basket, Allen whittled the next 20 seconds off the clock before completely abusing Vujacic for a back-breaking layup. (Special thanks to Gasol for not helping in time -- I'm starting to think Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton and two draft picks was a fair trade.) Boston by five, 17 seconds left. I'm not kidding, Ray-Ray is in "I'm destroying Papa Shuttlesworth and I'm not signing that letter of intent!!!" mode right now. This seems like a good time to mention he has played the entire game. Amazing. This was like J.D. Drew's $14 Million Grand Slam in October, only for two solid hours. I'm stunned and continue to be stunned.

(By the way, it's a good thing I didn't go to this game -- I would be losing my freaking mind. The Lakers fans would be beating me up with chardonnay glasses right now.)

Reserved judgement on my Laker's until now.:)
They got some work to do as for the supporting cast.
Kobe and Fisher need 1st team help bad.

But overall, can't complain.
Hate to say it but my Laker's are not going to win 3 games before Boston win's just 1 game.

Stick a fork in this season.
Dammit. :smh:

BTW JR.
Still think Lamar Odem should not be trade bait at season's end.
And get rid of that wild arse, long black haired Euro that play's out of control, losing the ball. :smh:
That idiot played the entire 4th qtr for reason's I have no clue about.:retard:

All you boston nutt riders can kiss my arse. None of you even like them and root agaist one guy. Just Sad. Boston will get old quick. The Lakers be it they have the MVP are a young team and they have to learn from this. You can not let up ever. Run them out the gym. I would have tried to put 40 on them. I wouldn't sit my starters down until it was so far out of reach even stretch Armstrong coundn't reach it.

Celtics have three potential hall of famers and a Champion who showed gritt last night. Can't take nothing away from them. They want it more than the Lakers.

But aint nothing over till the fat lady sings.

Both Lakers and Celtics want it... Lakers just can't cut the mustard....

And how you know who aren't really Celtics fans... Just like a lot of you except "I dream of Kobe" just came out of the wood-works with this Laker team this year same can be said for some of you...

I know Celtics been my team since I could remember anything and was 1982, love the Celtics because my entire house-hold were Lakers fans, I hated the Lakers and thus I loved the Celtics, they been quite dis-appointing since Bird left... But WE are back now.
It was even a thread started when the Hornets were doing real well.. asking..."Why you New Orleans folks aren't talking about the Hornets"... And several of us explained who our teams were and also said Hornets being new and all, they still home team, GO check that thread.. So I have two teams...Hornets and Celtics.. So Both my team I feel are better than the Lakers, so I am having a great year...

Now is not the time to cry... It's time to drink 20 shots..Thanks a lot Kobe, what a fugging role- model..

Yeah...but the MVPee said they wet the bed last night. Up by 24 and lose?? :smh:

That's glaring for a Laker team.
I have never seen a Playoff Laker team blow a lead like that in all my year's of rooting for them.:smh:

That shat was brutal the way nobody went for Boston's throat comming out in the 3rd qtr.

Frat........I just don't understand Odom.........he got the talent.Too nice of a guy on the court. So I would not be shocked to see you guys move him. Call Detroit up......they are trying to move folks. Carmelo is up for grabs in Denver...

I tell you who I would go after if the Lakers have the money.........Antwan Jamison of the Wizards. He has been consistent as can be his whole NBA career. People forget he was the player of year coming out of UNC and not his team mate Vince. Vince just got the accolades cause he could dunk. Jamison would fit well with Kobe. He plays hard and he don't need to be the man. Also you guys need some defenders. Phil gone keep the Euros. They allow Kobe and Phil to talk to them crazy with nothing said back. Luke Walton needs to go. He has not done anything. The Lakers caught the West off guard and in transition. New Orleans will be better next year and yall better watch that team up in Oregon that is getting better.....they get their number 1 pick back healthy and they still have a lottery pick even though it is at the bottom of the lottery.......still a high enough 1st rounder to be a solid contributer. All Oden gone have to do next season is average 10-12 points and get 10 rebounds and few blocked shots for them. Those other cats can score. So this was an opportune time for LA to win. Also don't forget San Antonio.......their nucleaus is not that old. Duncan just turned 32 and big men can play for awhile. Ginobli is 30 and will not turn 31 until this summer.... Parker just turned 26 this year...So all are in their prime. Clean house and bring the role players that are younger and want a ring.

Well Shaw..........I am not a Boston Celtic nuttrider......I have said from the beginning.......I would like to see KG get a ring for all his days here in Minnesota and the fact he is a stand up guy off the court. I could care less about the city of Boston and the Celtics organization. I like Doc Rivers from his playing days. Ray Allen from his UConn days when the Big East was a beast with him, Iverson, Kerry Kittles and such.... so they are easier for me to root for.

Now as far as them getting old.........they are in their prime and have at least 3 years left in their star players of Allen, KG, and Pierce. Allen turns 33 on the off season........Pierce turns 31 right before season starts and KG just turned 32 during the playoffs. Rondo is second year player. House and Posey are around 30. Perkins is a youngster, Big Baby is a rookie, Powe is a second year player, Tony Allen is like a 4 year player.......they will get rid of Cassell and PJ Brown probably will ride off into the sunset. They still have their number 1 pick in Gabe Pruitt on the bench from USC........so the Celtics aint old as people think. They have a good mix of veterans and youth. What they need is to get a young swingman that can score and drive the ball and another big body if PJ Brown retires. Replace Cassell with some other transient veteran looking for work. Get Big Baby in some shape and they will be fine for at least 3 years. before the wheels come off when the Big 3 will all be in their mid 30s. Early 30s aint old. Jordan and Pippen were still winning titles in their mid 30s along with Rodman and Harper. The only youngsters they had was Kukoc at the time. Or some scrub off the bench.

I've been a Celtics fan since the Bird and Magic days. And you best believe I'm gonna talk hsit to my entire family. The rest of them are Lakers fans, I was the only Celtics fan. I even told my brother before the season started that the Celtics was gonna win the championship, LOL!! Once they got the big 3, it was a given what was gonna happen, LOL!!

I was a Celtics fan for most of my life (since the Bird days) until last year when they cheered for Kobe. I got so dayum pissed when they started off well this year and I could not cheer for them...:lmao: I will get back on the bandwagon as soon as this season ends. I have too much pride to jump back on a bandwagon just because a team is doing well.

Celtics and the Broncos Baby!!!!!!!!

Shaw... I'm not a Boston Fan, until they are playing the Lakers. No, I am not a Kobe hater ( I just play one on the internet).

I've never liked the Lakers...started rooting against them in the 1969 Finals. Niow I don't care for how Phil Jackson is overhyped... He's only wins when he has the most dominant player (Jordan/Shaq) along with a good helper (Scottie/Kobe).

As a Lakers fan I didn't just come to it this year. I've been riding with them since I first watch the Lakers and Celtics in the 80's. But how can you guys root for New Orleans so hard and be a Celtics fan. I live in the Memphis Metro Area and I could care less about the Grizzlies or the Titans. You will never see me rooting for them no matter how good they get. Just like the Memphis tigers will never get my love. I had on a JSU T shirt the day of the Championship and Friday when everybody had on Memphis attire.

I'm ride or die. 49ers is my team win or lose.

Just saying Kobe has made you guys so mad and you hold so much ill will toward the guy that you root against his team. He will be back just like the first time he shot all those threes and missed them. He learns from this.

MJ did not win at first either. He had to get over the hump. Kobe will too.

Man get outta here. Kobe has won 3 titles already (thanks Shaq). If he hasn't learned by now then he never will. I tell you this, MJ never scored less than 20 pts in a playoff game. Especially in a finals game....

MJ did win in his first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth appearances in the Finals. So basically once he got to the Finals it was a done deal. So you are comparing MJ days of not beating Boston or Detroit in the playoffs to Kobe not winning his first Finals as the lead man for the Lakers. That is different.....than the Finals. He didn't need to get over the hump in his first finals.

But Juke......this is really Kobe's first Finals as the number 1 go to guy.(snicker) Even in 2004 when they had the Dream team of him, Shaq, Malone, Payton, Fisher,etc...... he was not the lead man.

So even though he has 4 Finals experience.......he never came into one until this year as the MAN. Unlike MJ where he had been the man since day 1......so when he got to the Finals the first time against the Lakers in 91......he was ready. Maybe ole Kobe aint really the type of leader to will his team to a championship. Folks always give KG that hard time. But Kobe still does not have the same look that Jordan got when their was blood in the water. Like I have said before......no one was as cut throat as number 23 was. Just mean and didn't give a fugg about ripping your heart out. Kobe wants to be the man.......but somehow I get the feeling he don't feel comfortable with it at times.

This game is far from over, but it helps the Lakers for the Celtics not to have a whopping 23-2 foul shot advantage. Let's not forget about that. Also, the Celtics have not been a good road team all playoffs, so they'll have to suck it up and play through it.

Ariza's playing his azz off. Phil should've been playing a lot more and he should've been playing in Boston.

I tried to tell yall the game wasn't over. Phil practically GAVE this game to the Celtics more than they actually won it by his stupid second half substitutions. He kept Ariza on the bench after he practically shut down Allen and forced Pierce to struggle in the first half. He left Farmar in for most of the fourth while he was struggling and he failed to call time outs when the Lakers needed them. Phil went brain dead in the fourth.

The Lakers are a year ahead of schedule. It's time for the Big Three to shine and I'm happy for them as well as for Doc, but for the next four years, the Lakers will be very competitive.

It continues to amaze me why people mention Jordan, but NEVER mention his SUPPORTING CAST Pippen, Grant, Kerr, Armstrong, Paxson and Rodman. It's as if those players never supported and helped Jordan become a better player.

Kobe has nowhere near that kind of pool of players. Those Bulls players knew their role and played it, both on offense AND dense and they had heart and they didn't fold under pressure in the finals like certain Laker players.

At least yall could mention this when you talk about Jordan. Jordan struggled many times in the finals, but his "help" bailed him out.

Same here. Celtics and Broncos for me all the way!! :swink:

Well you can argue that point, but in any case, in today's league, this Lakers team has more talent than any other team in the NBA. Still, last night, Kobe folded up right along with the rest of his team.

WOW!! Look at ALL these Boston "fans" all of a sudden coming out of the woodworks. Ain't said shat about Boston since this board been created, now all of a sudden they're SUDDENLY Boston fans.

Sounds more like fairweather fans to me.:smh::lol:
