Jax I'm sensable and no one can control a made shot. But tempo is key to a victory and the tone was set early that the game was going to be called on sided and they would not let the Lakers Play.

But I don't want to hear it when the lakers get calls in LA. Somehow the Celtics will not look so great in LA and it will have to do with tempo and a tone set by the refs.

All Boston has to do is win one game in LA and its ova......:)

Man Kobe dayum near fouled me on some of those plays... Name the OBVIOUS fouls the refs didn't call, if you can't why are you even crying about it?

We all know the home team gets a little home cooking every now and then. Boston knows this going into the Staple Center. Game 3 will tell if Boston got that killer instinct with all the marbles at stake.

True.

TWO fouls for one entire half?! I rest my case. You nor anyone else has yet to explain that never-before-phenomenon. And it's being blown up because it's NEVER happened before in 50 plus years....FIFTY.

Folks are making jokes to divert because even they can't explain it.

Man go suck on a lolli pop...explain how you get within 2 with the leagues MVP and you still don't win the game...

Like I said, it's happened before in regular season games and in postseason games. If you look at free-throw stats you will see that there a games in which one team has a 2-1, 3-1 advantage in free-throws.

It has happened in 2008 playoffs as well. I even pointed that out to you, but you seem to ignore it. Folks are making a big deal out of this because it's the Finals.

Where did you point out to me that a specific team only got two free throws in one half? I must've missed that one.

Yeah, but they'll need 28 more free throws to do it.:lmao:

Your cry baby jokes ain't funny brah.. try something else..

You totally ignoring KOBE is being STOPPED!!!!

Typical of you though, take all of the attention of the MAIN issue and divert to something smallTIME, especially when the game got within 2 towards the end....

Ok Jayrob I'll level with you. Maybe the 2 free throws in one half was suspect but The Lakers still had a chance. The refs didn't lose the game for them, they did it to themselves. The Lakers are soft and truthfully I don't know how they made it this far.......

I appreciate your honesty.

The Lakers ended up with more offensive rebounds than Boston, so where is the softness? They're much SLOWER than the Celtics, but even with that, the minus 28 free throws, and with Kobe in foul trouble in the first half, they only lost by 6.

Phil needs to put Ariza on Pierce and take Radmanovich off of him. Hell, I could take Radmanovich to the hole one on one, so what Pierce is doing isn't all that great.

On the other hand, Kobe's being doubled and triple teamed almost everytime he touches the ball, yet he still shot 50 percent, was the high scorer and had 8 assists.

The Lakers will be fine at Staples and I be dayumed if the refs will EVER do that shat again they did last night.

You seem to be stuck on the this two free throw thing when I pointed out the Lakers shot 27 more free-throws than the Jazz in Game 2 of the WCSF.

In fact, the Lakers shot 19 free-throws in the first half and the Jazz only 6. (Utah only shot 1 in the first quarter).

Man, just give it up.

No Laker fan on this board was upset with the refs against the Spurs--especially when Derek Fisher clearly fouled Brent Barry at the end of Game 5. Heck, the league even admitted it was a foul and the Spurs still did not cry and moan about it.

I can't stand either franchise. The Lakers got screwed in the officiating last night. That was a shame. :smh:

Boy you are full of isht.. your arse can't check a 3rd grader...Paul Pierce is killing Lakers entire roaster..... Your sorry arse pointing out stats.. when at the end of the day you all LOST..And Kobe wasn't Great enough to WIN after the game got down to 2 points.. Deal with it... bottom line Lakers got their arses ran out the Gym, and because of the Celtics celebrating too early you all came back.. and when the realize they were being silly they quickly put you all BACK away...

Don't be surprised if this end in 4 or 5...

Dude, how can you, in your wildest imaginations even dare compare ONE foul at the end of a game, to the situation last night. You're comparing apples and oranges. The NBA should not only apologize to the Laker organization, but they should ban those officials for the remainder of the series.

Utah, on the other hand, is the MOST FOUL PRONED TEAM IN THE NBA, so what happened to them was not a random anomaly. What happened to the Lakers, one of the top teams in the league with the most free throw attempts per game, was totally out of context and character. Nothing like this has occurred ONCE this season, including the playoffs.

I can't believe you're even debating such an issue and trying to justify two foul shots versus 23? You've lost a lot of credibility dude.

Game, set, match!!!!

Not Really I called that a foul and we should have been playing in Overtime.

I'm a fan of the Lakers but if we do wrong call it. Like that travel by Rodmonovich. But if you want to be honest Kevin Garnett travels everytime he does and pump fake and dribbles with no calls what soever.

I would be fine with the Celtics beating us if the no calls were called both ways. But when a team takes 10 foul shots to 38 that tells me something else.

It's over and if the Celtics win so be it. Nothing can be done about this but true Laker hate is evident when you can call that mess last night even remotely good officiating and good basketball.

Kendrick is a closet Laker hater, disguised as an uninterested, non-biased NBA fan.

He's been outted and his true colors have been revealed for all to see.

No doubt he will respond to this thread with an emphatic denial, but the die has been cast.:smh:

Mr. Conspiracy Theory... Now you on here declaring who likes what team?!?!?:retard:
You stoop to a new level of retardation every week...

Your true colors been should that you are not a person that knows sports, you are nothing but someone that is in love with any and everything involving Kobe Bryant...

You have yet to talk about how Kobe STRUBBLED last night and the game before against the Celtics defence....

I told folk earlier no team from the West was going to beat either Boston or Detroit... I love home team and all but I was trippen too much off of us not being in the finals this year because each West team is missing pieces to even take on Detroit and Boston whom both finish was far better records than the top 3 in the West.
P.S. The Hornets, Utah would hold up much better against the Celtics than what the Lakers are doing.. That isht last night was comical.. Kobe had little to nothing to do with the Lakers getting back in the game and Celtics gave up on defence... That is some MVP I tell ya.....

Jordan was laughing at Kobe all last night....

1. The foul at the end of Spurs-Lakers game totally changed the series. If a foul would have been called, Barry, a 90 percent FT shooter, probably ties the game and we don't know what happens after that. That is the difference.

2. It does not matter if Utah is perceived as team that fouls a lot.

You can't tell me that a 43-16 advantage for the Lakers is acceptible to you, but 38-10 in against the Lakers is not. You just can't pick and choose to argue something if it only favors you.

3. Like I said, this issue always get magnified in the postseason. No one really mentioned the foul differences in the regular season at all.

Sports talk radio, newspapers and Sportscenter and message board are not buzzing with talk about the Lakers getting 27 less free-throws than the Clippers in a game in January. But since it happens in the NBA Finals everyone loses their minds.

BTW....

I really don't care which team wins the NBA Finals. I am more concerned about the Chicago Bulls turning it around and making the postseason next year. If you get upset with unbiased Lakers analysis, then don't respond to my posts.

KOBE offered little to nothing last night, that's where you Laker fans frustration needs to be geared towards...

Laker fans should be the last to argue about calls when their calls against the Spurs cost the Spurs the series.. Especially the one with D. Fisher fouling the isht out of Barry....And batch arse Kobe had the nerve to get on the interview and say.."It was NO foul"... and the NBA shortly after that came back and indeed say it was clearly a foul...Next time Kobe will learn to just shut up...

Being that the Lakers really can't compete with this Celtic team when the Celtics fell the urge to put their lights out.. I will go ahead and say Celtics in 4 or 5.... But the Celtics that much better than the Laker where they may extend it out on purpose for drama to win it in 6 back at home....

I predict a Laker blowout on Tuesday. Watch how many times they get to the line. Lakers in 7.

Don't bet on that... Lakers haven't showed they can really match up against this Celtics team let along blow them out...If the Cletics go in there playing around it is possible the Lakers may sneak a game 3 win out...
