RobJay, you all let a 3rd string PF/C score 21 points in 15 minutes. How can you explain that?

That's not the point. The dude played well and he probably deserved all of those foul shots. That's not the issue. My point is how does one of the NBA's highest free throw shooting teams only get TWO foul shots in one half, and only ten for the entire game? Even the most diehard Celtic fan would be hardpressed to explain that.

And now Vegas (whose seldomly wrong), has the Lakers favored by almost double digits for Tuesday's game?! Go figure.

RobJay, you're not seeing the point I'm making. How did you all (Lakers) let a 3rd string PF/C (Powe) get 21 points in 15 minutes? I'm not talking about how he deserved all those foul shots. I'm talking about you all could not even stop a 3rd string PF/C (Powe) from scoring 21 points in 15 minutes.

Aint nobody crying man. A blind man could see that the refs set the tone of the game early and Boston road the wave. How do refs affect games? All you have to do is call a few touch fouls on key players and now they are playing tentative and on their heals.

:bawling:

So its the refs fault Boston went on a 24 point scoring spree?
And... its the refs fault for LA losing? :retard:

The Lakers got more than 2 foul shots Jayrob.....:smh:

The fact of the matter is that LA is living and dying by the outside jumper. That's the same reason Garnett didn't shoot many free throws last night.

Oh yeah He traveled and I was mad at that call. YOu can ask my wife. I'm like call that ish he took three steps and I counted them on the replay. SMH at this BS. The celtics are stronger down low than the lakers but I saw fouls with my open eyes not no bias.

No crying over here they can have the title. They surely bet the farm on it. We will learn from this one.

Man, Kobe dayum near put Paul Pierce in the hospital trying to keep up with OLD Ray Allen....

Even if they don't get swept but lose the series all of the Kobe is the greatest talk should still cease for good. Not only did MJ never lose a NBA Finals series, he was never down 0-2, he never had a 30% shooting avg in the finals, and he never averaged less than 30 pts in the finals either.

All this crying is a daymn shame. The Lakers made it to the Finals off of bad calls in their favor so don't cry now. The Lakers have no Defense, Kobe has no answer for Boston's defense, and the Lakers are soft.

And Kobe NOR the Lakers can stop Paul Pierce.. But the Celtics shole have been STOPPING Kobe....
Celtic been my team but this Celtic team couldn't to Jordan what they are doing to Kobe...

:rolly::rolly::rolly:

Shaw, I understand these folks don't like me, don't like Kobe or maybe don't like the NBA, but for them to try and explain the free throw discrepancy is ludricous and laughable. TWO free throws??!!:lmao:

Come back when you are finished crying atleast then you are just plain Tard.. right now you are a bit out of the box...

Not true at all. The Lakers shot about seven fewer shots in the lane than the Celtics for the entire game.
No one can explain TWO foul shots for one half. That's my issue, plain and simple. Never has this happened in the 50 plus years in the NBA. There's no way Boston has one of the best defenses in NBA history where they only give up two foul shots. I understand homecooking, but that homecooking last night made the history books.

EXACTLY.. Which kinda p's me off with KG.. Because this soft arse LAKER team he could take control in the paint.. Maybe he don't know it yet...

~shrugs~

Unless you can point out the fouls that should have been called, STFU!!!

Thanks

Thank you very much for pointing that out. Those crying lakers fans can sit down with those crocodile tears that they are pumping out, LOL!! When the hsit goes in their favor, you don't hear a word from them. :lmao:

However, the Jazz didn't make the Western Conference Finals, so either you're referring to the Western Conference Semifinals, or you are referring to the Spurs.

I meant the Western Conference Semis against the Jazz. My bad.

FUGG the FOULS...

CELTICS didn't play D at all in the 4th because they were basically celebrating how easy it is for them to kill this Laker team and it bit them in the arse... Lakers get within 2 points with VERY LITTLE help from Kobe....

And you mean to tell ME the person GR and Jtard calls "GREATEST" couldn't WIN this NEEDED game for his team?!?!?!

GTFOH!!! Don't ever compare him to Jordan ever again.. Jordan WOULD have WON that game with SMART and VERY HIGH Basketball IQ.... Jordan would have bent the Celtic team out of shape for even allowing that isht, and more so unlike Kobe, JORDAN would have been the main reason for that come back, especialy the way Celtics was giving it up....

So let the FOUL call isht go and explain how you come with in 2 and have the so-called greatest player on the floor and NOT come away with the WIN!!!???

Dude, since when did the Lakers play Utah in the NBA finals? Please, give the time and date while you're at it.

FYI, the Jazz commit the most fouls in the NBA period. The Lakers shoot more free throws than most teams in the NBA, but you're trying to justify TWO foul shots for one whole half?! You take the cake. See my first post today.

Can you read? I never mentioned the Jazz playing the Lakers in the NBA Finals. I mistakenly said WCF instead of WCSF. And you even missed the line you placed in bold type as well. I really did mean NBA. I never said once NBA Finals.

You're killing me Smalls!

If KG was more aggressive in the paint in addition that that nice jump shot he has he'd be a BEAST.

So last night was historic, wouldn't you agree?!

Yeah it was historic, never in NBA history did a league MVP not win a finals game when they came back from a large margin and within 2....

That's history for your arse son...

Jax I'm sensable and no one can control a made shot. But tempo is key to a victory and the tone was set early that the game was going to be called on sided and they would not let the Lakers Play.

But I don't want to hear it when the lakers get calls in LA. Somehow the Celtics will not look so great in LA and it will have to do with tempo and a tone set by the refs.

No not really because the foul difference has always favored home teams in the playoffs. It's just being blown up because it's the NBA Finals.

TWO fouls for one entire half?! I rest my case. You nor anyone else has yet to explain that never-before-phenomenon. And it's being blown up because it's NEVER happened before in 50 plus years....FIFTY.

Folks are making jokes to divert because even they can't explain it.
