The only guaranteed loss last year was USM period. As stated we weren't sub 500 and definitely wont be this year with an upgraded staff and more talent but keep wishing.

PV had the SWAC on notice by game #3 when it looked a certain way, until the truth finally showed up during conference play.

Yep the PV win was a good one (after scrapping an offensive scheme and coaches). Yall were definitely the team to beat earlier in the season. SU didn't get cocky until after they beat yall and found a QB in Skelton (sp). Otherwise they were quiet as shyt lol (how soon ye forget).
Delusional now a guarantee that I can count on from yall.

Mehhhhhhh.... I said some things pre-season but that SU victory kinda' sorta' solidified my earlier position, to a certain extent. I always remained hopeful but that SU game was sheer dominance in EVERY single facet of the game: offensively, defensively, special teams, AND fan-backing w/ the band lol. Just dominate from top to bottom and SU certainly deserved that victory. Hella' gameplan implemented by coach Odums and staff.

It seems like those teams who made changes really gave it to us during the 2nd half of the season. JSU, SU, and not so much Alcorn but I think they did use their 2nd QB a few times, if memory serves correct. If one looks @ the Grambling St game, one can see the results of them introducing the 2nd QB in the game how the entire flow changed and they started driving/scoring. Adjustments. Hella' adjustments. Wished we could've been that forward thinking w/ adjustments but it was a lesson learned as we tried to ride that raggedy assed PV bus until the wheels fell off lol.

I’m sure Dooley corrected all that this year. I expect yall to be much better and a lot tougher now that he’s got his first year of being a HC under his belt. I like the competition so let’s get it. I’m optimistic for SWAC play this fall from everyone.
