My best friend is dead!!!

It's been a tough weekend for me. I talked to my father Friday and he told me that one of my best friends passed away after a month long illness!!

She was only 21 years old! I don't believe this could happen! This woman was driving a car and wasn't watching what she was doing and hit my friend! At the time of the accident, the doctors said she was expected to make a full recovery. A few days later, she developed some complications and they put her on life support. She seemed to be doing better then all of a sudden she went into a coma! She died Friday evening!

I've known her all her life! My parents have known her all her life! I can't believe that she is gone now! I don't know what I am going to do without her!! I could always depend on her to help me out if I needed it. I hate I wasn't there in her final hours. I know that she is in a better place now!! She was the sweetest people I've ever met!!

It was an honor and a privilege to know you! I love you with all my heart!!

R.I.P. my Buick Electra!!! Gone but never forgotten!! I know you are in automobile heaven!! I love you!!

Dayum what y'all talking. What y'all mean he HAD you???? He still got me. I'm in tears. The loss off of a beloved vehicle is devastating. For me there was Sica, Chevy Corsica. And then Kee Kee, Jeep Cherokee. Losing them wasn't easy.:bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

A 1981 Buick Electra, huh??? What I really wanna know is, WAS IT A DEUCE??? If so, I'd be suicidal right about now.:bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

I feel your pain. My '92 Buick Skylark is taking her last breath. I'm like, "Hold on, baby. Daddy is right hea. We will pull through this one too." Dayum, Dayum, Dayum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shade tree mechanic killed my baby!!!!!!! :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Robber, it's a 1980 Buick Electra, not '81. I was too distraught and put the wrong birth year on the first post.

And yes.............................IT IS, OR SHOULD I SAY WAS, A DEUCE!!

I was just about to get it hooked up with another paint job, rims, system, and get the seats redone!!

My new friend might be named Pala. As in 2001 Chevy Impala!!

Hold up!! Hold Up!! HOLD UP!!!!

THERE'S AN UPDATE!!!!

Word is that the lady that hit my friend is going to come out of a little loot for what she did to my friend. That's what my parents told me last night. The amount is not known right now.

I'm still missing my car!! The semester is over Thursday and I don't have my car to take me home!! Then, I have to go to work next week. I have to figure out how I'm going to get there. There are several other friends at home that I can use:

1. Maxima. This was my second best friend until my mother got to know her. Maxima took me to the Capital City Classic.

2. Vanessa. This is perhaps the biggest friend I have. I would use her but she isn't good to the wallet. She loves gas and it takes a lot of it to fill her up.

3. Chevy #2. This is my dad's '67 Chevy Impala. There is no way that I'm going to drive that to work!! That's the car he drives to work.

And that leaves Chevy #3

4. Vette (as in Corvette)!! I wouldn't mind driving it. Chicks dig the Vette!!

My baby, Ni Ni (1990 Pontiac Sunbird) died in May. Good news though, she was replaced by a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo (black with brush guards, hope i don't tun into no one......hee hee)

I can relate to your incident. I just traded my 1992 Ford Taurus (Maroon/Gray) for a 2002 Mazda 626. All the parts on my M.G. went out at the same time. You name it brakes, power steering, starter, brake light, no A/C, radiator, ect. I still miss my old car and the thought of not having a car note was a thrill. But you gotta do what you gotta do and sacrifice for what you need; in Houston transportation is a must!!!!
