MVSU vs UCLA game updates

I dunno guys.... Last night's loss can be defined on many levels... And while Valley was the 'team' that loss, the loss isn't solely on them (like some of you seem to suggest)...

In fact, the way I saw it, there was no way Valley was going to even be competitve against UCLA. And few other SWAC teams wouldn't have done that much better.

The 'grand canyon' that exists in athletic funding, when you compare a UCLA to a Valley is hard to fathom. It's truly David versus Goliath. The facilities, the conditioning, the recruiting, the coaches, everything is beyond compare.

I'm proud of the fact the kids didn't quit. They just couldn't compete with a bigger, stronger, better conditioned team....

The athletic product we put on the court is DIRECTLY RELATED to the money we spend on that program.....

We get what we pay for.

The 'onus' is on US to improve our facilities, coaches and programs (in that order). Can't blame UCLA for being what they are....

However, you may want to take some other tigers, jags, a FEW panthers lol, devils, & hornets to a private forum somewhere and break it down further for them because they're having a HARD time w/ living in the past and thinking it's going to help them win today. lol

Especially some jags who thought the year was 1993 (u were right JR because I watched the game w/ a few gatech grads who were FUMING and stopped short of calling SU a team full of 'dumb ni##ers' until they remembered I was sitting w/ them lol :emlaugh: ) was actually today March 21, 2008. :lol:

Uh Belmont is the present. 2006 is only 2 years ago. JSU battled Florida last season. We can be competative in baseball PRESENTLY against the white boys who have more than we do but can't stay within 20 points of UCLA? Come on bruh. What makes us so different than a Belmont? You don't need facilities to be able to play basketball as much as you do in football. Valley's PG was the fastest kid on the floor last night. Practice and more practice. Better coaching is the key.......

And all that jibber-jabber about Bama St's men would've fared better is bullsh*t. If that were true, why in the HELL couldn't Bama St get by Jstate in the tourney since they're so "superior?" Better yet, if JState would've fared better, why didn't they get past Valley? And don't try to rationalize a loss in the last .4 seconds of a game w/ freethrows as the answer. The answer is a LOSS is STILL a loss. There's not a column w/ "IF" as the title. :retard: 2 columns. WON-LOSS.

The SWAC's best mens team LOSS by 30+ points. You can't rationalize or <b>intelligently</b> justify that. If you try, you're even more stupid and/or dumb than I thought some of you were (are). :gift:

Quite frankly, I think it's spiteful to blame this lost on Valley alone. This is a hit against the conference as a whole.
