Some people get excited over these recruits.. LOL But let's see how well Comegy can coach em up. I like Comegy as a coach and even better as a recruiter.

Ya'll better stop acting like ya'll have been crushing Valley for the past few seasons. Those games have been pretty close.

You do have points about "coaching up" some kids, but signees like that 2 star DB J. O'Neil are ready to take on the SWAC right now. Mark my word. Javon O'Neil will be an all - conference DB. That was a great get by Comegy. That commit really sent a message to the SWAC if anyone had a questions about high profile recruits signing with Valley. Cole, Long and Banks are three damnnnn good signees as well. If Comegy can find at least 5 more solid recruits, I think Valley's final recruiting class ranking will go up pretty high in FCS. We shall see what happens by August. The only reason why Valley class is not ranked high right now is because of small numbers. But as far as quality, it's damnnnn impressive.

More beef, can you say mean streak and pancake artist? Alvin Solomon from Bessemer, Alabama 6'1, 310lbs. OL, CROOT COMEGY CROOT!

Nice fundamentals. You can tell that some lineman coach has made this kid understand that he is not a tall lineman, so its better for him to stay low and be pesky. Look how he is staying low, and then knocking guys on their a---s. I also like how he is putting his entire body on the line. Tough kid.

After watching Comegy recruit at Valley so far, I think I completely understand what he is trying to do. Until he has the roster where he wants it, he is finding speedy defensive kids from winning high schools only, and beefing up the offensive line in attempt to prepare to play smashmouth football. If I am right, I think it's a great formula for Valley. Soleman and Cole ate both pretty strong kids weighing over 300 pounds and will be at Valley for 4 or 5 years. Add a very skilled/fundamentally sound lineman like T. Long and Valley could have powerful offensive very soon. For the next 2 years, I see Valley pulling out a few 21-14 or 17-10 type wins.

Now, we are in February. If Comegy can add a highly recruited RB, DE and LB, this class officially goes to another level.

Have y'all hired McCall as y'all OC yet? We running a special this week. Hire McCall for the low-low and we throw in Knight for free. 2 for 1 deal. Tell Comegy to "Make it Happen".

He's working on a really good RB now, I am just waiting to see if he goes ahead and signs.

It amazes me that this is the same thing he has done at JSU for the past 8 season without fanfare now he is the savior to Valley.. Also it obvious none of u have paid attention to how coaches or doesnt coach!

And as far as one of the best in FCS that is a major stretch!

It's much different this trip. This man signed a 2 star Big Ten prospect on signing day to come to Mississippi Valley! That alone should speak on why it's different. What does he have to showcase? Program prestige? Location? No. The man is bringing in a few playmakers to Valley in just a few months. Valley's recruits are very impressive at this point. I have watched Comegy work his magic at Tuskegee and Jackson in bringing in a few playmakers. For him to pull of these type of players in year one at Valley considering what their program has been through and budget issues, this is great work by Comegy. I wish him luck.

Good athlete, provides depth behind Ivy and Simms. Just needs to be coached up. Croot Comegy Croot!!!!!

It's good to spice up the competition.

It is amazing how Valley has went from 5 replies to their 2013 Signing Day Thread to what we see now. Comegy is really adding some fire to your program.

Valley is putting together a solid staff and recruiting class. I like what I'm seeing so far, only time will tell how they look on the field. I think they will have a winning season this year, the SWAC EAST just got better.

Chalk another one up for the hardest working recruiter in the SWAC! Comegy is beating them bushes! Charlie Crenshaw, Wetumpka High School, Wetumpka, Alabama rb/slot wr

I see you got your wish! This was another good pick up for Comegy. I heard this kids coaches didn't put in the extra time to get him major FBS looks. I guess Crenshaw is another Varsity Blues workhorse. Anyway, he is a smart kid who plays baseball as well. Comegy is really trying to prove a point to Valley by bringing in all of these kids who come from winning programs. Crenshaw is going to be good in the SWAC. This All-Metro RB is a playmaker.

Another good statement Comegy.

It's actually another, bigger back that I am waiting on word about though.

A JUCO QB that needs coaching up? By Comegy and staff? :scared:

Nothing wrong with Valley being excited about the moves being made by the new coach, please put down the.......
