MVSU Baseball Coach Suspended





Naw, it's not that bad it's not baseball season til Shanks gets tossed from a game. Just like it isnt the SWAC tournament til get he gets tossed also

Why did he get Suspended? isnt what he did part of baseball? Heck it might be one of the best parts of baseball. I think the SWAC office should be Suspended for 2 years. I cant say I like or understand 3 things the SWAC does..

Shanks probably was suspended after the umpire filed a report to the SWAC at the conclusion of the game. If that ump told the league he felt Shanks was abusive or threatening with his gestures or language, that could warrant a suspension if the commish agrees with what was written in the report.

Now, the coaches also have the opportunity to send the SWAC office an evaluation of the umps after each series as well. (I sat in on the completion of one of them, and it was LOL funny what the coach put down).
 
Suspended? It was a non-conference game.

Most every conference has a rule if you get ejected in a conference game, you are "suspended" for the next one. This was non-conference.

Surprised the SWAC acted like they did. Still, plenty of props for the indoor track and field decision.
