Mumford Stadium Construction

[J-State]

Dude building a mall and a building is different from building a stadium. :smh:

Dude, this is not a year and half project. Besidew, the brother said Crew Stadium only took a year. Stop being so darn defensive and read carefully. Cudos to SU for making this project happen.

that project is at about the equivalent to our wellness center that started about a month ago.... Louis Crews entire stadium was built in year... The newest mall in Huntsville was built in a year... just cant see how this project takes a year and a half.

Not saying I know for sure this is the case but often times NEW construction from scratch is a lot faster than construction where you have to build around something existing...

I agree. It was a bad mistake to allow that much time in the contract, but you live and learn. Maybe Southern got other deals by extending the contract. But it really didn't matter anyway, because the project still wouldn't be finished until the 2009 season even if the contract time was set at a more appropiate time of 9 to 12 months.
