MT. PLEASANT, TN (WSMV) - The quarterback and two other members of the Mt. Pleasant High School football team were arrested Wednesday and charged with raping a child who became pregnant.

Princeton Harlan, 18, was taken into custody at the school, accused of having sex with a girl under the age of 13 in July.

Two other Mt. Pleasant High School students, ages 16 and 17, were also arrested, but, as juveniles, their names were not released.

Maury County Sheriff's Det. Tony Bailey said the 12-year-old victim became pregnant after having consensual sex with the three teens.

According to the Columbia Daily Herald, the pregnancy was terminated, and the FBI is processing DNA evidence to determine paternity.

Harlan was booked into the Maury County Jail and released after posting a $100,000 bond.

Officials with Maury County Public Schools said the district cannot comment on the case.

Harlan has been mentioned as a prospective recruit for several college football programs, such as Vanderbilt, Auburn, Kentucky and Mississippi State.

I have seen him play, he was legit.

I am wondering what will happen to him after his day in court. Willhe have an opportunity to play college ball.
 
Sad thing and the thing is it could led to something greater they weren't caught. You know child pornography is rampant throughout the world!
 
This is heart breaking,

One of the other kids, is the son of a church member "Just finished talking to her" She is out for blood, his "sperm donor" , not pops, father or daddy, told his son to sign papers saying he was part of it.

OMG, what sperm donor in his right mind, would advise his son to do something as stupid as that. Evey since, he went to live with his dad, he would not listen to his mom - there is more, but I am too upset the talk about it.

Here it is, she of the fair complexon, and her dad is on the P D force.
 
How are you going to call that man a sperm donor when his son is living with him and, in your words, doesn't listen to his mom? Secondly, how does the mom know if the father actually told the son to "sign papers saying he was part of it"? If that actually happened, how does she know if there was a reason for it or not?

I frankly wouldn't give a damn about her being "out for blood". What is she going to do? Act a fool? And actually get nothing accomplished as usual. That's probably why she lost her man and her son in the first place. She sounds stupid.

Lastly, the girl being "fair complexion" means nothing. It is against the law no matter what "complexion" she is. Just because some of us care less about our daughters does not make that act any less illegal.
 
I know his mom and dad, his "dad" told her that told his son to sign the papers, admitting that he had sex with the girl, without the benefit of an attorney. Being out for blood simply imply "I am mad as hell" Perhaps, where you live it has a different meaning and it does at time.

See, you are talking as a fool. No it does not matter her complexion, but it does, yes it's illegal becuse of her age. But, go and do a little home work, about the County. I tell you what go there and commit a crime, and you will see.

She did not loose her son [still sounding stupid without facts - who said she lost her son?], no he does not listen to his mom, for the simple fact she raised him from the day she gave birth, until hae became a teen and did not want to listen to her he thought he was old enough to make decisions for himself. Then and only then, he "left home" to stay with "ok" his father. Why, because she was to hard on him, he did not want to go to school, church or do anything around "her" home.

I have knownher son from the day she gave birth to him, his sister and grand parents.
 
What you have is second- and third-hand information from her. Not facts. I'm sure the father has a side of the story too and a person like you on his side would think they have the "facts" too.

If she actually knew for a fact what the situation was - i.e. was there - why didn't she stop it? Because she doesn't know for a fact because she wasn't there. She sounds angry and bitter and you're taking her side since you "know" her, but that doesn't mean what she's saying is factual or truthful at all. You should know better than that.

This is not second or ghird hand information "The man, told the woman he had a baby by, now a teen. That he told his son, to sign the papers" That's not rocket science to understand, So you are say it possible, that he lied to their son's mother.

I am not taking anyones side. Like I said, I know the three of them. I talk with the father, the son and the mother.

You are still talking as a fool, please explain why his dad would tell his mom, that he told his son to sign the papers. Please, explain why the son would his mother that he signed the ppers because his dad told him.

So in your opinion, everyone is telling a lie.

I guess him being locked up is also is a lie.

My point is that she doesn't have any facts. You just said that somebody "told" her. The best she can do is believe what they told her.

Is what they told her factual? Possibly. Or ... maybe not. Maybe she misunderstood or misinterpreted what they said. Maybe they didn't tell her the whole story. Not that anybody "lied". So, you don't know whether she has factual information or not. SHE doesn't know that.

Think about this. The other two boys were arrested as juveniles according to the article. Is it possible that the boys were offered being charged as juveniles instead of as an adult in return for a statement? Or some other deal? Is it possible that something happened other than the father simply telling the son to sign a paper saying he did it? Does that even make sense to you?
 
Dr. H why do you put "dad" in quotes?

In your post you said, "mom, dad, and "dad"....are there two different dads? Like the biological one and then the one that raised him?
 
Yeah, her son's father told her. One of the juveniles is her son!!!!

What makes sense, is her son is locked up and ii is because of some stupidity.

No one dad, just playing off of jag, from sperm doner to "dad", meaning a dad, does not turn in his son without a legal rep.

He was raised by his mom, as I previously said once he became a teen, he thought his doodoo didn't stink. So "he" left home to stay wit his dad. Beacue, his dad allowed him to do whatever he desired.

But, whenever he needed anything "material" he called his mother, not his dad.

Most Mothers or Fathers that I know, will not turn their son over to the justice system.
