Skegee's numbers are legit. Even though the stands in the stadium is only designed to seat 10,000, in between both sides is a large hill where more fans congregate, some sit with lawn chairs, others with their blankets, and then others just stand and hang around. People be everywhere. It's been like that for years. Very live atmosphere....and yeah everyone has to have ticket. In the past student tickets where given as part of tuition. I don't know if it is the same.

Great game day experience on that hill. Abbott Stadium is the only place where you can eat B-B-Q, partake in an adult beverage and watch a football game at the same time. That might be the reason why they want install lights.
 
We could've had more than 18,000 at Homecoming...but some fans decided to skip the game after Holmes' got fired mid-week

Still, 18,000 was the 2nd highest attendance in the MEAC with a terrible team

Aye bruh, Skee Gee homecoming is like a football party with nothing but drinking, fine women, and shyt talking all day long. Its the only party in town. :lol: Just don't expect your cell phone to work. They only got two towers in the whole town. :lmao:

I've been to Tuskegee 30 times on homecoming day, and have NEVER bought a ticket. You may have to buy a ticket to get inside the "stadium area", which includes a small hill, but not "on campus".

'Skegee is just straight lying about that 31K, and has been for years. :lol:

How has the Turkey Day Classic been working out for y'all attendance wise since Tuskegee dropped you guys?

Ive seen the videos no knock on that but the number is high for such a small stadium...
 
Y'all keep over looking that everyone on campus gets charged. They be inside and outside the stadium.

CEE, as I said before, that is not true. There is no way they could do that even if they wanted to. They'd have to start charging folk when they got off of I-85. :lol: Again, I (and friends of mine) have been going to Skegee's homecoming off and on for DECADES, and I HAVE NEVER heard of anybody being asked to pay to get ON CAMPUS.

Now, here's 27,000+at the Bama St.-Skegee game @ ASU in 2012-It's noway Skegee had 31,000 at their HC. All these folks in this pic can't fit in Skegee's stadium.
