Moss: I wanted to be a Falcon or a Raven

What in the hell does going to the playoffs twice mean, when you've never won a superbowl? Teams are remembered for how many superbowls they win, not how many times they've gone to the playoffs.
If my team hadn't done a damn thing in the playoffs throughout the entire miserable existence of the franchise, then I probably would also try to not remember the playoffs too.

:lol::lol:

Well hell...in that case I guess making it to the playoffs is enough lol. On the other hand you could have no championships and no 2 winning seasons back to back and well.....thats pretty pathetic for any professional sport.

ummmm,
unk,
Shut up.

And compared to the aints, the FALCONS have a sterling history--playoff wins, conference title, Super Bowl appearance, a national fan base.
:lol::lol:

Man you didn't believe that when you typed that. National fan base???? Get real bruh, the Pigeons don't even have a local fan base. So much so, that when Arthur Blank bought that sorry arse franchise, he dayum near had to give away tickets for people to come. How soon we forget about those $10 tickets.

What was it that Blank said? I'd rather have somebody sitting in the seats for $10 instead nobody sitting in them at all; Or something to that effect.

Make no mistake about it, Michael Vick has a national fan base, and not the Pigeons, hell the people in Atlanta are Vick fans instead of Pigeon fans, cuz as soon as he gets hurt, those already sold tickets will go unused........LOL........ It's been done already.

NICE

TP, stay out of this.

Yeah, right where they belong, in New Orleans. LOL

NICE

I'm a Broncos fan so yep, I will stay out of this loser vs. loser convo. Sad thing is, New Orleans and Atlanta are both my area teams but I don't follow teams like that. I lived in MS for 23 years and never gave a fugg about the Saints. I lived in ATL for 6 years and never gave a fugg about the Falcons (and neither did anyone else in ATL). I moved to Philly and the Eagles quickly became by second favorite team in the NFL.

Ya'll just don't know football. Nice, sorry you had to be exposed to Ravens and Redskins. I see why you don't know any better. MH ain't got no choice.

The most overrated, underachieving team in the NFL.
Flop city!!!!!!!

To this topic...Moss should have never made such a statement. Had he said some ish like that and he was an Eagle, they would have burned his jersey in the streets.

unknown, they don't want to start any comparisons with the Broncos. Let those lower level teams keep arguing. Forget I ever mentioned the Broncos.

hey cat...What do these drop back passers have in common?

Ben Roethlisberger
Tom Brady
Kurt Warner
Brad Johnson
Doug Williams (2 TDs to to Anthony JOnes)
Bret Favre
Phil Sims
Troy Aikman
Trent Dilfer
Mark Rypien

Now show me a QB that won the game running with the ball

Since you asked I'll give you two.
1.) Steve Young
2.) John Elway

Both of them are Hall of Famers too. There are no more than 3 on your list that are in or will be in the HOF.

At least most of the guys you typed can move around in the pocket. They moved the Statue of Liberty from New York to Dallas and put a football in its hand.

Nice now if ya'll go dig up the previous owner of the deadskins you might make it back to the SB.
Everybody knows the name of the game in the NFL is...say it with me..."What have you done for me lately?"

You can have 1992. I'll take my birds last 5 yrs over them skins any day.

Hint... what Falcons game did I say id be in the dome to see? It doesnt matter what team it is chances are they have a winning record against the falcons lol:lmao:

Cat....by the time those guys got to the SB, they were no longer running the ball. John Elway needs to bow down to Terrell Davis and Steve Young passed the ball to Jerry Rice to win the SB....Jerry won the MVP of the game.

And you changed the criteria....now the drop back passers have to be Hall of Famers?

Nice, sorry you had to be exposed to Ravens and Redskins.

Vic being honest, I've been a lifelong Skins fan, long before moving up here, Suge, JR, and GSUpe will tell you that.

Come on man, be honest, I've lived in the northeast for a long arsed time, and I know how those Philly people are, they forced you into liking the Eagles didn't they? There's no shame in admitting you were afraid. The last time I checked, the Skins, and Ravens (not that I care about B'more) had Lombardi Trophies, and the Eagles didn't, so you'd be better sticking with the Broncos.

Oh, the last time I checked Doug Williams was still throwing TD's on the Broncos, and Timmy Smith was still living the dream. LOL

NICE

Say it with me bruh, "WHAT IN DA HELL HAVE YOU EVER DONE?" phugg lately.

.....but then again, Pigeon fans have been known to be bandwagon riders, and they only support the team when they win, so now I understand why you're so stuck on the last 5 years, because that's when you actually started saying you were a Pigeon fan. My bad dawg, I should've realized that you became a fan 5 years ago.

NICE

I'm not changing the criteria, I'm just sayin'...

Yeah, you have to have some players to make it to the SB. Even the Steelers needed Willie Parker to step his game up this year to win the SB.

BTW, you put Trent Dilfer on the list. I don't think the Ravens used a QB when they won the SB. They punted on 1st down and played D. They averaged 1 TD a game and that cam from the defense.

I'm not one of the bandwagon guys. I been a fan since 1992. So I had nothing to cheer about for a long time.

You should understand where I'm coming from. You haven't had anything to cheer about since 1992 either.

Something to cheer about, is better than never cheered at all.

NICE

and when have you had anything to cheer about for the aints?

I mean, it's not like they've actually made a run in the playoffs.
