I think some of the alumni need to understand it costs money to bring back the band, along with supporting it, and Morris Brown can not get off track with spending on funds recklessly. St. Paul and St. Aug learned a hard less about that, as both schools brought back football and in the end the cost of bringing back football and supporting it help lead to debt the schools occurred.

Now if the alumni wants to 100 percent fund and support the band, with no cost to the school, then that will be great.

I am not sure if 5 million is enough to support the band, but I am sure other HBCUs would give them insight of how much it cost to support a band now of days.

That is progress, getting up to 400 students. I agree they have a long way to go, but if they keep their focus, they will hopefully make back to their former glory.
