...Apparently, none of you saw the article in BlackAmerica.com, however, a lot of incorrect information was given out over the internet...now if that was "YOUR" school that they were talking about , how would you feel...we are just trying to do some "damage control" so that the public will get the right and positive information instead of the "negative"...I think it is an excellent idea to announce it regardless of what you say...
...This topic is much-to-do-about-nothing(making a mountain out of a molehill)...as I said in another thread...when all else fails try and find anything to try to diminish the success of the ICON...

I don't recall too many peeps making fun of something like that (seriously). I'm smacking now because the GSL announcer tried to make fun of another's situation w/out regard. That's awfully tacky and :shame: . C'mon now. If GSL thought it had to announce to the world that it's still accredited and yadda yadda yadda, it should've bought some air time on NBC, ABC, CBS, BET, ... or had articles written in USA Today, Wall Street Journal, ... etc.
That type of behavior is inexcusable at worst. :smh:

Officially, they are half way there. They still have to meet with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in San Antonio next month.

It's not false advertising because the statements made were true. That's the point of her saying it because around the country there are people like you who don't know the TRUTH. Grambling is accredited. They just have not been approved YET for their next extention.
This is what all this comes down to. Misinformed people getting information from misinformed places.
I do recall. From statments like, "I hope you school is still open so that we can beat you" to "Got Accreditation?" This was in posts throughtout the board until Kyle release the approval of the audit.

we need each other to survive.
