Man, this is sad. Wilson has made a lot of enemies over the past few years though.

I don't even want to watch the video. Remember I stated when this hire was made how not too many people were excited about it. His work (or the lack thereof) on the White House HBCU Initiative upset a lot of people.
 
TSUGIRL,
I am not a Wilson fan per say, he just always came off as elitist when I talked to him but can one really go against the administration which employs you. Sometimes, I think people assume that this administration values HBCU's because the guy at the top is black... I will leave it at that. Missed your intellect around here.

Yes he is elitist. Cee Dog wouldn't like him LOL I only met him once, but everyone else that has interacted with him said the same thing. But maybe you are right about him only being able to work within the constraints afforded him, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. If people really read President's Obama's education platform as it related to HBCUs they would not. But most of us did not take the time to do that.

Thanks pop. I've been around, just don't post as much. In addition to my 8-to 5, I have been preparing for comprehensive exams next week, started getting my stuff together to begin my dissertation, and job interviewing. So I'll be back more after the next two weeks LOL
 
So all of this is over who was invited/uninvited to speak at commencement? This looks like some feelings got hurt. How is the school doing academically and financially. That is what they need to be concerned about.
