It is always good when "That which is Spoken in Darkness" comes to Light. Now we really know the depths of which Hillary will crawl.
This Emanuel Cleaver guy would have served Himself and the African American community much better if he had kept silent. Sometimes it seem that we Never believe that we can achieve anything based on our own merits.

I'm certain to be in the minority on this topic, but the Wright issue is very much valid to bring up to superdelegates, whose ultimate job is to decide who is the most electable candidate. No different than it is to bring up Travelgate, Watergate, Bill's affairs, or any one of the other dozen Clinton scandals. These things will be used by the Republican attack machine without question, it's perfectly fair for either side to suggest that these issues could be a fatal flaw to the other. The comments by Cleaver are so absurd they require no retort.

In theory it sounds legitimate but in reality it isn't because the Republicans would be stupid to bring it up for the same reason that Hillary is doing it behind close doors. At least one of the reasons anyway.
1) The public has shown that they are turn off from it.

I wouldn't go so far to say that the public is turned off to it, especially the working class whites that Obama has been struggling to reach. The issue will continue to resonate throughout the race, although to this point Obama has done a good job of keeping it at bay. As far as Bill Hagee is concerned, even with McCain actively seeking his endorsement, it still won't be viewed as equal to Obama's 20+ year relationship with Wright, which will be this election's "swift boat ads". Besides, Democrats aren't going to fight on the same dirty level as Republicans, which gives them an added advantage in that comparison.
