True...but this isn't really an open marriage... Haggar and Abram weren't openly sexing after conception and birth...and Sarai cast Haggar aside so she was never reaaly cool about it...
 
The Bible also says THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTERY so which part of the Bible yall listen to.

P.S. I didnt want to bring the Bible into this conversation bc i know im not living right with God but i hate when people bring it up to justify a lifestyle
 



Let me ask you holy, faithful folks this. What is it that you are gaining by worrying about other folks marriage? Does this cause any problems in your house hold? Are you bitter because what went on in your life? If it ain't you and yours why do you care? Are you benefiting any way by what this woman and her husband are doing? What is wrong to me, is right to another. I don't believe in open relationships, but if you do, why should I judge you? It's not gonna bother me one bit, as long as mine ain't sharing her tail with someone else, who cares.........

Since Monique did put her business out there for the public to discuss (like everyone was just going to say nothing...lol)


Why are you so worried about other "opinions" about something she said publicly?

Does this cause any problems in your house hold? Are you bitter because what went on in your life? If it ain't you and yours commenting on this topic why do you care? Are you benefiting any way by the comments on what this woman and her husband are doing?


If everyone said ..."Right on Monique way to go.... I hope our young girls learn from you"... Would that have pleased you more?

No it doesn't matter to me, but one thing I have learned in life is, folks always worry about other folks houses. That is why those folks houses end up broken. If folks would worry what their love ones are doing, Mr. Jodie or Ms. Sally wouldn't be sneaking in the window and leaving out the back. Wrong is wrong, but who cares if it ain't you and your doing the wrong.....

Cee you are way off on this one dude. There is no hate in this thread. People can have have different opinions and still be civil. That's what I see here. You are pushing for drama and no one is falling for it.

As for Sarai and Abram, she got hasty in her desire to give her husband a child and took it upon her self to make it happen. She then got her feelings hurt after Hagar had the baby and then kicked them to the curb. She and Abram were not patient with God and he made them pay for it. Many of us are guilty of this every day. I don't see this biblical story being an example of an open relationship that worked. It actually is proof why it DOES not work. Sooner or later, someone's feelings will get hurt.

This reminds me of an ex that wouldn't shave her legs for isht when I was with her in HS. Then, a year or so after our break up, she said "I thought about what you used to say"...and, showed me her well shaved legs...:retard:

I care, and so do a lot of other people. Besides, being judged now - while you have a chance to change - is a whole lot better than when the option is no longer available to you.

Open marriage is an OXYMORON at best.

Every person makes his individual choices about life and is responsible for those choices. I am not advocating that those choices be taken away. However, I am concerned about our society and that we send the right messages - both now and in the future. Everyone has influence and public figures have lots more potential to influence because of their visibility. If everyone just does whatever they want to do then anarchy, rebellion, and confusion are ensured.

Marriage: ONE MAN & ONE WOMAN EXCLUSIVELY (CLOSED) UNTIL DEATH PARTS THEM. SIMPLE.
