Mississippi Valley State vs Murray State Game Thread: 7:00pm CT

😄

That team with a one sided stadium would run throughout 88% of the SWAC, and will be one of the best teams Valley will see this year.

Easily. And most people expect us to have a decent defense so imagine that team lining up against iffy defenses in the SWAC. The results won't be different. Still I expected better but won't make excuses

If we show up against SFA (who is a middle of the road Southland team) with QB play like we did on Thursday, it's gonna be a long year and that coaching seat is gonna start to warm up for Dancy

You can recruit and develop All-SWAC level players on offense and defense but absolutely whiff at QB and that could cost him

You can't be stubborn like you were in 2019 and the Spring with inept QB play. Give EVERY QB on the roster a look

This guy transferred in from UNLV as a former 3 star QUARTERBACK and was a QB at UNLV but you got him playing WR for the two inept QBs ahead of him (a benchwarmer at JUCO/Northern Colorado and ONE good game at LIU and a WR/RB playing QB who was inaccurate and INT prone in the Spring)

Exactly, that QB we had shoud have been pulled by the end of the first quarter. Plenty of high thrown balls, him missing good reads and then not being able to run that well. Treat these games like pre season and switch ish up! Valley might not be the best in the SWAC, but we have enough talent to win a few of our matchups.

I am picked Valley to beat Bama St, but that schedule is rough.
