I can repeat what I said against Alcorn and even VUL and it still applies. With the current QB and OC, our offensive ceiling is 21 points. If any team goes for over that, we will lose. UAPB was daring Valley to throw the ball down the field on us after the 2nd quarter playing NO ONE deep because they knew we couldn't do it. Plus we threw 3 INTs (including one on the opening drive in which we drove down the field on them) Plus for whatever reason, we don't play Johnson (RB) that much and it baffles everyone because he is clearly the best RB on the roster. And Robinson (QB) was begging to get on the field but to no avail because he doesn't fit the MEAC system Powers runs.
Plus Alcorn exposed our secondary and every team since has been torching them. I almost conceded UAPB scoring at least 30 on us but us only scoring 6 threw me for a complete loop because we KNOW we could run on UAPB but constantly going 3 and out makes us going away from running and putting the ball into the hands of a QB who can't complete 50% of his passes for the year
Congrats UAPB on the win. I expected yall to be better this year (said it at the beginning of the year) but hoped it wouldn't be against us lol
