Winston must have known he had some suspect players and thought his chances to get the head job would diminish if he took over on an interim basis. You would think he would have jumped at the chance to so he could distance himself from other candidates. If the players had not quit, Da Mayor would still be coaching. Not sure Gram should trust Winston.

Did Dirt tell you that? I ask because not having talked to him myself, I can't say why he didn't take it or if it was initially offered. But he's a good coach.
