Every single major college football program in the Magnolia State lost on Saturday. Ole Miss hang TIGHT with Alabama but eventually lost 43-48, making FSU’s blowout by Louisville even more inexplicable, but I don’t want to get too off track here. One Reddit user posted the scores of every Mississippi team’s game on Saturday:

Alcorn State lost to University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff: 43-45
Belhaven lost to Huntingdon College: 21-65
Delta State University lost to University of West Georgia: 24-34
Jackson State lost to Grambling State: 14-35
Millsaps lost to University of Chicago: 16-35
Mississippi College lost to West Alabama: 13-38
Mississippi State lost to LSU: 20-23
Mississippi Valley lost to Texas Southern: 0-31
Ole Miss lost to Alabama: 43-48

Man I read that ish on Sunday night. Along with leading the nation in obesity and high blood pressure, I believe we as a state lead the nation in losses this week. One of the craziest football stats I have seen in my entire life.

I'm sure Jindal would fit Mississippi like a glove, especially a State that has the Confederate Battle Flag on its State Flag.

Jindal didn't care for LSU because their band would never show their love for the Confederate South before each game. I'm sure he loves seeing White folks reminiscing about the Old South and hollering out in unison that the "South Will Rise Again". I just don't understand how any person of color can actually play that stuff.

The slave mentality is perpetuated mostly by parents who didn't even get a chance to attend any level of higher learning. Too often first generation collegians are coerced or influenced to attend Ole Miss, Miss State, etc. by parents with misguided views of the institution's superiority. This mindset has no clue about the struggle and their progeny shouldn't attend an HBCU.
 
Look man some folks will do whatever to fit in... It's just how they was raised........ and Fudge Ole Piss. My kids had camp there this summer. They usually go to camp at Arkansas State but this year the Sister cheer sponsor wanted to go to her Alma Mater..All that stolen money and nice stuff up there made me sick!!! She was the first black cheerleader or one of the first.. She loves that mess!!!

What's most disturbing is there are black kids going to schools where fans tailgate with the Confederate battle flag, have flags flying from their vehicles, and have license plates, bumper stickers and various assortments of"dixieland" paraphernalia. There is no confusing what all of these things represent. If the South were "too rise again" it would mean more disenfranchisement for people of color. Why would any person of color support, participate, or be affiliated with an institution of this nature? Take situations at face value, the obvious is usually reality.

Man I could not do it. When I was at Arkansas I stopped going to the games because of this. I could not understand for the life of me why a black player would high five a guy who is wearing a t-shirt with a rebel flag on it. That really bothered me.
