Kosta Karageorge, the Ohio State football player missing since Wednesday, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday, according to Cleveland.com.
Karageorge, a senior walk-on defensive tackle and former Buckeyes wrestler, had not been seen or heard from since early Wednesday morning. A body was located Sunday near Karargeorge's apartment and police later identified it as the 22-year-old Worthington, Ohio, native.
Karageorge's sister, Sophia, told the Columbus Dispatch earlier this week that her brother had a history of concussions and the family feared he was suffering from the after-effects of his most recent episode. Karageorge did not show up for the Buckeyes' practice Wednesday morning, and his family reported him missing later that day.
