The American Conference is becoming a landing zone for pro coaches They have some solid coaches for most of the teams too with Kelvin Sampson (Houston), Johnny Dawkins (UCF), Mick Kronin (Cincy), Fran Dunphy (Temple), Frank Haith (Tulsa), and Kevin Ollie (UConn), This could be a league to watch the next few seasons.

Can't blame them for trying to make a hire that could propel them like the Larry Brown hire did for SMU.

Brown's hire was made with an infusion of money into the program and a new arena and a staff that was compensated.....everyone who was blind knew what was going to happen and all of a sudden, top players started looking at SMU overnight and then the scandals started....
