Michael Vick... Enough to make a grown man cry

Michael Vick ... Down but not out... 4 to 6 weeks. Injuries are a part of the game, but if you are counting on this to help make your NFL's team season... you are truly SAD!

That's why I hate Preseason games. I don't believe 1st team offense and defense should play in those games. The stats don't count and the wins and losses don't count. Mike Vick basically got hurt in a game he shouldn't even been playing in. I mean we all know he's gonna be the starter.

I am the same way. I can't stand preseason games for that reason.

Shame it had to happen to Vick. He was one of (if not the) best QB in the league. But he'll be back.

I totally concur.

Why was he playing anyway?

Hey guys,

How do you propose that the starters work to get their timing down,i.e.,receivers and quarterback along with the running backs?
I wish they could be held out too but that would be my major concern.

I've thought about that too, but then we can look at college football, all they do is practice for the month of August then they go straight into the season. But i know the NFL is alot tougher and more demanding than college football. I know some teams have scrimmages against other teams, they are basically like practices nothin like preseason games in the home stadiums. I know the NBA, MLB, and NHL have preseason games too, i just think the NFL preseason games are more risky because of the hard hitting and risk of losing key players like Vick.
