Simuel Joseph Jackson was one of 25 children born to Mr. And Mrs Nero Jackson in Amite County, Mississippi on August 12, 1893 his twin sister and all of his brothers and sisters preceded him in death. His father Nero Jackson lived to be 96 years old and he died 1934.



Simuel attended Alcorn University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelor of Science & Agricultural degrees. He also taught Math in schools in Arkansas and Gary, Indiana.
