Mercury Morris.....

Not true dude. Miami won Super Bowls VII and VIII. Back to Back. They followed the perfect season with another Super Bowl. They lost Super Bowl VI to Dallas. First team to go 3 straight SBs.

My bad. I'm off by one.

Our culture loves a success story as long as the success is limited. Once anyone or anything is on top, the desire for a tear-down begins and intensifies with time. The degree of our hostility is directly proportional to the amount of arrogance that accompanies success.

Remember when people used to like the remarkable story of the Pats upsetting the Greatest Show on Turf in Super Bowl 36?

I ain't like the Patriots then and I damn shole don't like them now....

The Rams offense back then was a work of art with Marshall Faulk in his prime and Kurt Warner slangin it to Isaac Bruce and Torry "Big Game" Holt (quietly rackin' up hall of fame numbers also), Ricky Proehl in the slot.

But the Rams defense was off the chain too during their Super Bowl runs...
