The NCAA alleges Hardaway "failed to demonstrate that he promoted an atmosphere of compliance within the men's basketball program."

"Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway is the only person named in the notice of allegations, according to the report."

I had lots of thoughts and observations, but I deleted it all from this post to say it in one sentence, "The NCAA are some real MFs."

And this is a shock WHY????

Of course they are going after Penny. Probably for something someone else did.

@skyvolt2000 Not a shock, peeps in the city have been anticipating the repercussions for a good minute. We all know that others (individuals, institutions, etc.) have done far more only to face absolutely nothing. The NCAA presented this decision right on time (just as the Memphis program was head back in the right direction).

Penny has learned the hard way that these are the risks that comes with trying to stand up to the NCAA (his only real mistake).

I still stand firm on my quote, cause nothing won't change the facts that before this situation and afterwards, the NCAA are some real MFs. It just feels good to say it. #itiswhatitis #shrug
